You probably won't like reading this on a cell phone.

I'm not sure how much time I'm going to be spending on this site. I'm going to say this. I don't particularly care for "picky" people. What I consider a picky person is someone who makes a big deal out of nothing. For example, If I wanted to get something off my chest, and someone chooses to engage with me, I want them to engage with the meaning in the text I wrote. Not make a big deal out of my style. It's kinda like when your at Church, and your watching the sermon, but instead of focusing on what is being said, you notice the preacher's socks. i CAN'T BELIEVE HE IS WEARING PINK SOCKS! I admit that I wouldn't wear pink socks, but the socks isn't the point. The same goes with how well the preacher speaks. Some speak smoothly and others are hard to understand. Still the point is the message, not the delivery. That's all I got to say on this subject.

Another thing I kinda hate is the like buttons. I love positive comments. And I love it when people give me a thumbs up or a smile etc. I don't like the thumbs down so much... But the point i'm trying to make is, these kinds of online jesters are addicting. They actually use the like button on instagram to get people to keep coming back. I even heard that they hold back the likes, so that the person thinks nobody likes them anymore, and then just as they are just about ready to give up, then a whole flood or likes come in. It makes them feel really good! But the whole point is to keep the person addicted to the site.

You say that you might not be attending this forum much longer. Are you suggesting that this particular "body of Christ" isn't very supportive and kind?

True Christians support one another. Our Transformation, if one has taken place, is made evident by Love for the Brethren. We can know that we have crossed over from "death" to "Life" in how we treat one another.

1 John 3:14 NET - "We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love our fellow Christians. The one who does not love remains in death."

My recommendation to anyone who places the title, "Christian" upon their back, ought to take the above passage seriously and start DOING IT.
 
Sounds to me like you need more self control.
‘for example since Facebook, twitter or instagram or whatever was invented, I never created an account or joined.
‘Also when I like someone’s comment, it’s kinda like a nod in real life when you’re agreeing with someone.
Also I leave sites at any moment and I never return.
 
I've been having mixed feelings about this site. Today I kinda got ticked off. I've been thinking really hard about leaving this site.
 
Maybe need time away from the net . I feel other things in life are bothering you. Maybe seek God and give your brain and spirit a break. I can be overwhelmed at times and that's when it seems the devil shows me things to push my nerves. Finding it better to think before typing and at times why do I care what some do or think on here,lol. Just saying better to give it to God and move on.

I don't blame you. The endless debate amongst "christians" is one of the most tiring and exhausting things I've ever had to endure. It's not at the top of the list, but it's right up there.

I'm not a debater. But I'm ok with discussing things in a calm manner. I get tired of people being so blunt.

I agree. This sense of rudeness and bluntness, it is in total, utter contrast to what it means to be a Christian. I hate it. I don't care what others say to me or about me personally, but it is what it all represents. This constant sense of rudeness is why people hate Christians today. We think we have things all figured out; we think that we're in the right; yet we cast our humility aside as if it were garbage. We do not understand that we need to be kind even to our enemies. But, those who are not kind to their Brothers and Sisters in Christ, this is prime evidence that they Truly do NOT belong to the Body of Christ. These people who berate and belittle us . . . they are NOT our Brothers and Sisters.

1 John 3:14, 16 NLT - "If we love our Christian brothers and sisters, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead." ... 16 "We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters."

1 John 4:21 NLT - "And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their Christian brothers and sisters."

This matter is not up for debate, but those who refuse to show love to others, nearly twenty of them are currently on my Ignore List.

I agree with you. But I think there is more going on. We talk to each other but we don't know each other. Or maybe I just can't handle things. I don't know.

Knowing a person is not a requirement for being kind. For example, if I were visiting any of the people who are currently on my Ignore List, I am confident that they would not address me as they do here. Why? Because it is not acceptable to treat anyone disparagingly in the middle of a church with so many people surrounding us. But here . . . it is acceptable to be rude and unkind. I have reported folks in the past and it goes unnoticed and these people are allowed to berate and belittle.

If we want this mindset to stop, then we must all stand together and not allow it to happen without a group effort and exposing this remarkable sin. Reporting people is not an effective route, but standing up for each other [is]. The only problem is, is that very few people stand up for one another, but leave them defenseless as they are being attacked. As I have been attacked many, many times, here, only two, perhaps three have ever stepped up to defend me.

So, I don't blame you for not wanting to be here.

Do you think that if people would ask more questions and give less answers would be helpful? What I mean is, ask more questions to obtain more information before jumping to assumptions and conclusions.

100% - But what I have come to find as I have been a member of three forums in recent years, is that most of us come here to be teachers. I admit . . . that's why I came to these sites as well. I had a Powerful story to tell that I felt gave me tremendous insight, but I soon discovered that others had their own ideas about the Scriptures and that they too, were also here to tell of what they are utterly convinced is the Truth.

As the old saying goes, there are too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

So, I've learned to just take a step back, put people on the Ignore List and try not to be as much of a teacher as I used to be. I now "speak" when it seems like the chance of my words being "heard" is heightened. So, what I'm saying is that if you stick around, you may find that your approach to us, and this site, will change. If you don't change, it will be impossible for you to find happiness and peace here.

I didn't come here to be a teacher. i came to make prayer requests. Because I got a lot issues that need fixed, and I think only God can help me do it.
