Has anyone ells noticed the freak show around us. The way that society is turning to immorality at an alarmingly faster rat than has ever been seen throughout the coarse of history. I just want to talk and pray with someone about it.

This thread is not for complaining about the things going on in the world around us, but rather, to discuss them and come together in agreement and pray for them.
 
??? what do you want to discuss?

if you don't want complaints I would discuss how an ideal community run on the principles of God's Truth would look like.

how kids would be allowed to play outside and interact with other without the worry of harm coming to them, how neighbors would talk and know each other as brethren, etc.
 
I am merely looking for People to come together and pray about the things of this and areas of this world where the world is is turning away from GOD.

.....for example, the passage of laws in New York that make it legal for gay men an and women to marry. I just want discuss, (and by discuss them I mean bring them up/point them out); and get a group of people praying for them together about these situations.

For the Bible says "19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:19-20
 
Had to step away for a bit. Back now. I am going to get this ball rolling. I will put a list of things in this world that need prayer. Let us all come together and agree and pray on them.

1:Tolerance of immorality in America and the rest of the world, this bond will be broken, and we can return to and embrace GOD as a whole.
2:The love of money and power throughout the world, for they are destroying the world.
3:The lies that are being spread to lead people away, (intentionally and unintentionally) from Christ, that these spirits and principalities will be stopped.
4:For all of the deceived and lost that GOD will begin to move in their lives and show them the truth.
5:For the worlds leaders to lay aside their differences and come together for the common good of the peoples of earth, and not their own political or financial gains. And that they would all begin to take steps towards spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

....Lord GOD our Father, we pray for these things. For the bonds and principalities mentioned above to be broken: in Jesus' name..... For the lost and deceived mention above to have their eyes opened and come to see your son Jesus Christ, before it is to late: in Jesus' name..... That you will guide or leaders in your word and show them the true and right paths to take: in Jesus' name we pray all of these things.

.....we lift you up heavenly Father, we give you all of the glory, honor, and praise in Jesus' most holy, sacred, and powerful name.
 
This is a very good idea Jeff. All too often we say that "all we can do is pray", as though it's a last resort and only something to do when nothing else can be done. It's easy to forget how powerful prayer is, and how necessary and important it is. It can be hard to pray, even for those of us who have been Christians for awhile. Sometimes it feels like God isn't listening, but He promises that He is and He tells us that He wants to hear from us.

I think that it would be wonderful if more people came together and prayed, or even prayed on their own. (Because praying on our own is still an important and wonderful thing). I know that I need to pray more myself. It gets so overwhelming when you here about all the crazy stuff going on in the world, but it's wonderful to remember that God is there and He does care about each one of us.
