We have been made free from the law of sin and death so why would anybody want to defend the very thing they have been delivered from?
Romans 7:5 KJV
[5] For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Remember by the law is the knowledge of sin.

One version says the righteous requirement of the Law HAS been FULFILLED in US! Another words it's as if you are keeping the law blameless not breaking one commandment because the laws of God are now written in our hearts and minds.

[24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you (faultless) before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, [25] To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

[7] But if the (ministration of death,) written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the (ministration of the Spirit) be rather glorious?

[56] The STING OF DEATH IS SIN; and the STRENGTH OF SIN IS THE LAW.) [57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I submit to you here lies the two Covenants or Testaments:
The old covenant is the (ministration of death) because law produces sin and sin always produces DEATH.
The new covenant or testament is (the ministration of the Spirit). This is freedom from the law of sin and death. Free to serve God and follow Christ as the Holy Spirit leads and guides us. Not of the letter (epistle) and not in tablets of stone (ten commandments). Grace is BEAUTIFUL,but let's go all the way into the promised land. Don't be afraid come on in.

[6] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

See what the Law produces? Sin and DEATH! Yes I know the Law is still there. Yes the Law still remains just like JESUS said... Not ONE JOT NOR TITTLE shall pass from the Law til all be fulfilled,be the Law is not for you and me Sir and Maam. It is not for a righteous man or woman.

[9] Knowing this, that the LAW is NOT made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
If the Law were completely gone right now how would the sinners know they are sinning and that they need a Savior? Same happened to you and me when the commandment (Law) came sin became alive and we died. It produced DEATH in us,but where SIN did abound GRACE did MUCH MORE ABOUND!!!! Hallelujah! Praise you JESUS forever more! JESUS be lifted high!!! Amen
