7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God. 8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

God is love that transcends human love that they have for each other in the world.

Since God is true love, then that is a biblical truth of His nature, then no scripture can go against that biblical truth.

So people who believe that God chooses who will be saved, and who will not be saved,in the beginning.with no choice on the part of the person,is going against that biblical truth that God is true love.

There has to be a choice on our part to choose salvation,or else God's kingdom is not true love, but robotic love, for we would have no choice but to love God,seeing no other alternative, like a robot,or programming your computer to say,I love you.

That would mean that love between humans would be greater than love between God and His saints.which we know is not true,so they are not interpreting the scriptures correctly.

But although we have to choose this salvation, which the Bible says, whosoever will can have that salvation,God still gets the glory, because our attempt at choosing this salvation without the interceding of God would be futile, and come to nought.

The Bible says no man comes to the Father unless the Father draws them, and many are called but few are chosen,so while we have to choose this salvation,God gets the glory for us being saved, because without His help we cannot obtain this salvation.

We have to choose to allow the Spirit to lead us,which is obvious, because the Bible says that if we sin after conversion we can be forgiven, which if we did not choose to allow the Spirit to lead us,but it is automatic without our input after saved,we would never sin again.
