Reading from the book of Deuteronomy 6, GOD has giving a command to His people. It is through this command that all parents must follow, so that fear of GOD are instilled in our children. Some may ask, why would I want my child to fear a loving GOD?
The answer is simple, Men and Women alike have used over the courses of our lives a word called love, and the actions portrayed behind this word are not reflective of the meaning of the word. When we use the same logic in dealing with GOD the FATHER in Heaven who is unseen as scripture teaches us, how can we profess to love? This is why GOD has given you and me a means of securing the hearts of our children, bonding it together with Spirit and Truth at an age to where as a child you will be nurtured through to your adult life.
[SUP]Deuteronomy 6:4 [/SUP]Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. [SUP]6 [/SUP]These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
