When your eyes count, I'll worry about it. I see no wisdom in your words. NONE. But, my eyes don't count either. So, God will correct us as He sees it. Until then, if I see the nonsense that you spew out, I'm going to call it out.
Do you love me?

I'm pretty sure I know where this is going to go, but I have a right to address your charges of stupidity and lack of wisdom against me.

A few years back my wife and I were cognitively tested. This was a multitude of tests given over several days administered by a psychiatrist. In the end, I scored at the 85th percentile, which in simple terms means only 15% of the population processes information better than I do.

So when you think something I say is stupid or lacks wisdom, there is an 85% chance that it simply exceeds your ability to understand.

Do not assume and/or mock that which you do not know.

All this does is reinforce what I have done and said. Maybe I'm in the top 86th "percentile", but I've never tested it

I'm sorry, but if you are actually in the upper 85th percentile of the population when it comes to cognition, then your political wisdom and opinions about Trump fall outside whatever are your intellectual strengths.

Don't care.

Look, I'm sorry bro, but while our eternal salvation and spiritual matters in general are ultimately the most important, political matters nonetheless count. Trump, for all of his silly character flaws, fought for the American founding more than any president since Reagan. That founding is under attack by the American Left, to establish a communo-fascist order.

Trump is a man who not only has a steel stomach for battle (he never tires of it, in fact he actually seems to feed off of it!), but he also has metallic gonads. No one has the cajones this man has, with maybe the exceptions of DeSantis or Cruz.

I do not know the Trump supporters you speak of. Of course, I do not personally know every Trump supporter, but the only ones who seem to fit the description you gave are the ones CNN and The NY Times show us. If those are your sources, then do NOT lecture me about your intellectual superiority.

And... let's say there are awful Trump supporters out there. There are awful people who claim to walk in the Name of Christ. Does that mean Jesus is unworthy?

Bottom line is, if the movement preserves and perpetuates the American founding principles, then it is worthy of your support. If you cannot see that, then I'd revisit that test of yours.

We're past trump. We're to you and me.

Didn't Jesus teach us we are to love one another, even love our enemies?

So answer the question, do you love me.

I don't care is a no.

Why is the issue about you and I? You can define this as you wish, but then it is you who are missing my larger point: My "issue" is with any Christian who furthers the authoritarian movements we see in the West at this point in history. And, there are an unnerving number of Christians on this site who do just that. Considering what's at stake (all I have to do is look back to the 1920s and 1930s), I consider this a tremendously serious matter and worthy of intense scrutiny and debate --- and therefore, confrontation.

You can't say it.

I can, I do love you Gojira.

and all my brothers and sisters. That is why it concerns me to see so many of them being drawn away from God's Ways. Way no. 1 Love Him. Way number 2 Love others.

But you can't say it, can't do it.

And that illustrates my point.

You think you're doing a righteous thing, in the Name of God. And to a degree you are.

But it's taken you somewhere, where you find expressing God's Way #2 so difficult, so foreign.

So much so you can't do it.

You will know them by their fruit. the first of which is love.

But you can't say it.

What does that say about the path you are on?

This post is so whackadoo... a term that would be beneath thy higher understanding.

I do not "love" you, no. That's a part of my walk that is not developed. There are parts that are, and parts that are not. That one comes under the latter. None of this means the "path I am on" is wrong or destructive. I see God working in me in ways I have never seen Him do before -- and ways you cannot see. There are changes in my concerns, my priorities, my sensitivities... a dominating habit was removed some time ago, freeing me from bondage. But, because I jump on you for your dangerously foolish comments that condemn people you say that you love, I am in the wrong? I am the issue? Nonsense.

You are not going to get me off my turf and onto yours. You are dead wrong in your opinions about Trump and those who vote for him. Foolishly wrong. If either he or DeSantis wins the nomination, I will eagerly give them my support and my money. That you are more worried about how I've picked on you than you are about the path of the United States makes we wonder about the path you are on.

Fruit? That one's good, as a theme. There is a forbidden fruit in Genesis, but there are also fruits of the spirit later in the epistles, and those are required. Now the fruits of the spirit are grown by you, the believer, but the tree fruit, watch out for that! There's one that you eat that causes the fall, and one that you used to be able to eat in Eden that was of the tree of life. We can't eat that anymore, which is why eventually death occurs, although some theorists I've heard discussing longevity have hypothesized that lifespans have shortened naturally over time, with people still having lived longer in early times who had not had access to the tree of life fruit.

Spiritual and religious secret societies I've met focused on getting back into Eden and getting that fruit from the tree of life. You'd be really shocked if you met them in person and found out how literally they took certain passages from the Bible, one of them is the passage in Genesis indicating that God justified the expulsion from Eden by saying that after having mad themselves evil by having the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, if they then ate afterwards from the fruit of the tree of life nothing would be impossible for them.

I like your honesty, I never trust people who go on about their love for you on a discussion board, I find that rather peculiar.

Oh, well thank you.

I am wondering if I sinned in parts of my responses to him, but my overall pushback against his outlandish and possibly hypocritical comments I am not sorry for.
