I was an intellivision kid and spent quite a few hours playing various intellivision games ( the Minotaur one especially. Night stalker and the cloudy mountain one also got played a lot, and utopia and subhunt).
Currently on my computer I have the following board games (or at least their computerized equivalents since I usually want to play games more than there are people around to play games with):
Terraforming Mars
Wingspan
Splendor
Munchkin
Root
The tree (I think it was a board game thing, I've never played the board game but it was like $1 and that's about what it is worth)
Other honorable mention boardgames are:
Sherlock holmes consulting detective ( I think there are 4 of them now)
Commissioned ( early church themed game that plays like reverse pandemic as you try to spread churches across the roman empire)
Castles of mad king ludwig
As for computer games:
Ori and the Blind forest is a good 2d platformer
and I've found I rather like good point and click games with a humorous story and that aren't too obscure about what you're supposed to do
The sam and max series and Deponia games stand out there for me
and though I no longer have it on my computer, plants vs zombies still holds a special place in my heart

have you ever played the ur-quan masters? it is free on steam or for download. it has an amazing story. I have gone through and beat the full game 3 times. it was released 35 years ago, this year it is getting a sequel.
the Flare: Empyrean Campaign is a top-down, 2-d isometric role-playing game. it has amazing music, a good story, by that standard, but the final ending is locked behind the boss. so difficult (really as difficult as he should be, modern games bosses are too easy for the story behind them) but the boss is so ridiculously hard that I have not actually ever beat him.
