A very good game I cannot play anymore is Chess. Because Chess got me banned from the library. The kids wanted to play, I let them, and I got in MAJOR trouble for allowing chess in the library.

Wait, what? Why would chess not be allowed? It is an inherently very quiet game.
 
chess is my favorite, lately, i like spelling bee, strands, connections & wordle. pinochle, pitch & 2 handed spades are also favorites.

Yea that was my thought.
Apparently Year Six wasn't allowed because they had too much fun playing chess. According to the mean primary school Principal.
The Year Twos were allowed jigsaw puzzles but the Year Sixes were not allowed Chess??

I only let them play after they had borrowed books and were well behaved. So not sure what her problem was with it.

Linux can be installed on a flash drive instead of on the computer's hard drive. So basically it's a computer system that you can run on any computer with the hardware to run it. Just plug the flash drive in a USB port and boot from it instead of from the hard drive.

Linux can also run steam. And with Steam's proton compatibility layer, steam can run a lot of windows games.

See where I'm going with this?

I might have finally found a way to make a truly portable steam library.

What I expect to happen is, when I plug the flash drive into the second computer simkaart amerika and boot, steam will do a hardware scan and think I am trying to steal games. But but I have to try it.

What makes it especially enjoyable is the freedom it gives—you can climb mountains, cook meals, battle enemies, or simply wander and discover hidden secrets. Beyond video games, classic board games like Chess and card games like Poker also hold timeless appeal, offering strategy, competition, and social interaction.

I play while I'm waiting lol

Otherwise when I'm with others I play snap or last card.

I'm a seriously good, natural chess player type but being a woman player earns me a lot of spite too. I loved the days of pogo chess, i was one of the brick house crew with peet 37 and all those. They were really happy i was such a good player and it was lovely playing chess then.

Now, so many cheat/prog etc, i still have my *divine wind* style game but do get a lot of actual malice. It takes the joy out of the game for me, which i genuinely love, win or lose.

I bounce between old NES stuff and newer puzzle or board-style games, so I get the struggle of picking just one. On days when I want something quick without digging out a console, I just play games online, which scratches the itch for those classic vibes without any setup. It’s been a handy way to try different styles before committing to a long playthrough.
 
I bought a road trip card game. It had games to play in the car, jokes, and some really easy trivia questions that a 5 year old could answer.
My sister got bored of them and said I had to shut up so she could concentrate on her driving.

Well, at least I learned some new jokes. I can never remember jokes. The only one I know the answer to is the stupid questions type jokes like 'What's brown and sticky?'
