I used to collect stamps, coins, pictures, plants too. But my childhood collections i have passed on to younger friends, except some. I still like to compile photos for albums, not digital, even if a few for certain occasions. And still collect handwritten 'notes' from various events or occasions, like Sunday sermons, forums, or readings which i want to return to when theres more time-)).

I don't collect coins anymore but hunting for precious metals in coins is rather fun.
I always give puzzles for my dad to do, we complete them and then take a photo and give them away to someone else. You can get good puzzles for $2 at op shops with no pieces missing. We prefer the 1000 piece ones. I think weve completed around 100 over the past 3 or 4 years since we started doing them. Its fun!

I used to collect the old orange juice reamers (for making orange juice) as well as other old kitchen glassware. After divorcing and moving to a smaller place I no longer had an area to display what I had and sold it to an antiques dealer. My daughter and I have made wire wrapped jewelry so we have collected various polished semi precious stones
