First of all I want to make clear that I know that there's already a "Make an app" thread here.
My idea is the following:
I know you've been struggling to get some money for this site, for the host and other stuff.
I suggest that you make an app for mobile devices, meaning both: Android and iOS.
The fundraising thing is that you make it a non-free app. That way we could pay a certain ammount to get the application and therefore you'd receive funds.
The second idea is that you should sell inside the app stickers/emoticons with some cool designs, maybe Bible verses with nice typography, and random emotions. I use this messaging system called LINE, it's a japanese app which is expanding quite fast, and I read an article in the newspaper the other day and they sell TEN MILLION DOLLARS PER MONTH just by selling stickers.
The stickers are quite cheap, they're about two dollars or such, so people buy many and they make them of different characters. So there are stickers about love, cats, dogs, funny stuff, etc. You can ask someone here from the chat who's a designer to do some sets. Line sells famous characters stickers, such as Hello Kitty and such, I'm not telling you that you should get into that much trouble with copyrights and stuff, just make new emotes with christian related themes and then you can keep selling inside the app. I bet it wouldn't be much but it'd be easier for people to donate.
I'm not an excellent illustrator but I can draw some stuff, if you're interested in any designs or such, don't doubt to let me know.
