we have a set of 3 'real' looking trees that I put up on top of something. one year, another dog we had, ate all the tinsel off the bottom of the tree...it was plastic...vet said if it had been like the old metal stuff she would not have made it. as it was, for a few wks after, you knew where she had gone to the bathroom haha
