The question now is will the tyranny show it's ugly hand, and government override the decision of the wise judge? If it does, the world will be more assured of the dictatorship that is the Australian government. If it does not, the dictatorship in Australia will concede a victory to the Free, and the question must be answered - why then is the dictatorship demanding all Australians to be vaccinated?
Australia is no worse than many other nations and US states. I understand the reasoning, but Border Force has behaved more like the Gestapo in this instance. Anyone who has fallen foul of US authorities will know that they are no better. Just one example, an old woman in a wheelchair being pulled aside for a thorough search. Absolute power is very corrosive if unchecked. That is true in any society.
The government has a political decision to make, unfortunately. Do they allow Djokovic to play and look weak. Or kick him out and look like bullies? It's no win and it should never have come to this. If I was the WTA, I'd scrub the Australian open, if indeed Djokovic is deported. It would be three years before he was allowed back in, assuming that he would bother.
Vaccination is not mandatory for all Australians. Life is being made miserable in some states for the unvaccinated. We have two states in particular that are run by closet Marxists. They love this scenario.
Don't be misled. Australia is seven individual states in a federation. Each state has its own powers in many areas, including health. You can't label every state a dictatorship because it is untrue. And we still get to vote.
