IN THE GARDEN OF MY HEART
In my garden there are many rows
Feasts, famines, friends, and foes
My lot is plenty, my lot complete
While some are bitter, most are sweet
The horizon gleams with celestial poses
To reveal my prize, my four red roses
While I regret the days of neglect and sin
When I played the fool and the weeds crept in
I toil to feed, to water, and prune
For I know the day shall be coming soon
The day that I stand before my Lord
And present my bouquet of red roses four
Nothing shall pluck them from out of my plume
For they shall forever bloom
IN THE GARDEN OF MY HEART

While some are bitter, most are sweet
