Hi i am difficulties with my sexuality at the minute...its been like this for a while. I find girls really attractive.

I find girls attractive too. But I can see it would be more of a problem for you. Jesus can heal you of any homosexual tendencies. Really, I think most girls are ugly, just think about their ugliness as a practical way to help prevent yourself going down this path. Just think about a fat short-haired heavily tattooed and pierced woman man-handling you in a smelly rotten jail in Indonesia. Hopefully you don't like that idea. Finding others attractive of the same sex is OK, it's when it's sexual that it's a problem.

I find girls attractive, but im not a lesbian nor do i have the tendencies. Dont think because you think girls are attractive your gay.

I used to think being gay was sinful but i just found out that once we are saved we cant lose it. So live however you want. :)

Um it's in the word that homosexuality is a sin.

Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

miteyquinn I suggest you keep praying, but if you're only thinking they are pretty i don't think that means you are gay. God bless you.

To the guy that says live as you want..... Unless you repent, you will likewise perish....these are the words of Jesus not some pastor. Ive battled homosexuality, drug addiction, and alcoholism for 10 years...I finally repented and decided I'd try God out and He completley healed me and gave me purpose for my life

He's being sarcastic....someone disagrees/disagreed with his beliefs and so he was being totally sarcastic about it. I saw it on another thread. Praise God you found him, and were totally delivered!

Thank God, I don't have a father figure... well hes working on it and I was worried about myself turning up gay. I'm happy to see that kind of thing doesn't make a person gay.

As Christians, none of you should judge people on their sexuality.. and you know that. It's not our issue. Leave that to God and leave them alone

The Bible says it's a sin, and that the homosexual will NOT inherit the kingdom of God. We should show them in a Christian, loving, kind, concerned, etc. manner what the Bible says about it. Can we judge them? No. Can we judge the fruit they bare? Yes. Doesn't God show us, through conviction by the Holy Spirit, that we were once a lost sinner? Showed us our wrongs, showed us we were in need of a Saviour. That we were headed for hell, unless we believed, accepted, repented, and confessed. We're no different than them. We were once lost just as they are. We ARE suppose to show and tell them the word of God, and what it says about things. Therefore, it IS our issue. How will they ever hear the voice of God, unless they hear it from us? they won't be willing to open up, or know the voice of God for sure, unless we take a stand. You should know that as a Christian. So I'm sorry sir, but I totally disagree with your stance on ''leave that to God and leave them alone''. I agree we can't judge them, but we can judge their fruit. We're to speak up, be a living example, show them what God says, and so on.

I understand what you're saying.. And if someone wants guidance, then we should help them.. But if they don't want it, then what more can you do?

You don't force it upon them, but don't be afraid to speak up either. Also, I just want to make it clear...what I said before, was not meant in a rude manner. I don't want anyone to think it was. Love them in Christ, and pray for them. When they're willing to open up, then go forth.

Right on sister....

The word is very clear but the compassion of Jesus Christ is sooooo important and sensitivity to young people dealing with these struggles. About 11 years ago when I was first dealing with the struggle of same sex attraction I searched on Christian chat sites for leadership, advice, love or just one person that would build me up.....Id already tore myself down enough. Unfortunatly I was met with much fear and disgust from "Christians" and put in the pervert category....This led me away from Christians and of course the gay community welcomed me with open arms. This ought not be so......but its a fine line between having compassion and being empathetic. The word is very clear and to go against the word or try to adjust it to fit our culture is ignorant and dangerous. Its hard for our young people especially in these times with all the perversion in our culture and I don't know exactly what the best methods are but I do know that it was the love of God that led me to repentence ....not anyone making me feel bad or pointing out my mistakes. I already tortured myself enough with guilt and shame and when the "christians" added to it I ran. Thank God, it seems that there are many more people that post encouraging words and are able to love here than over a decade ago. I couldnt find one then. Thankyou to those that can imitate Christ in love....the bible says they will know us(Christians) by our love for one another. Do the outsiders know us by our love for one another or divisions? God loves every one of His children (including those with struggles) but He will enable you by His grace to overcome if you repent and ask Him to do it. Thats what I did.....I said "Jesus, you'll have to do it" and I pulled a ring off my finger and to my suprise he filled me with His presence and love. His Holy Spirit filled me and began healing every addiction, fear and void in my soul....Those ten years I wasted I wanted Him to make sense of it all before I would give it up....but when I just acted in obedience His love changed me forever!

If you only find girls attractive, that's not bad, but if you look at them sexually that's a problem.
