Gay/LGBT "Christian" Singers

Hi everyone..... I was cruising the net & found some videos showing gay/lgbt singers & worship leaders.

I understand this is the BDF, & would encourage others to give their biblical opinions on this issue, as well as names, sites, & videos of christian singers you know that fall into this category.

Christians are people who ask for forgiveness from God because Jesus died for them.

It is not their sexual orientation, their sin, or their background that makes or doesn't make a Christian .

So they are not "Christians" they are Christians. Whether you think it's a sin or not. Being gay, even if not right in your eyes does not exclude anyone from being a Christian

The difference is are they living in the continued sin of a homosexual relationship. The attraction is just the temptation but the sin is the action apon this temptation.

And we are living a continued sin of lying. We sin everyday and I can assure you there is a repeated sin in everyone's life everyday. We all buy into the temptation.
Not allowing someone into the kingdom of God off of your own judgement is also against the word.

I'm against being gay, but sinning, no matter what sin does not make or break a Christian

I agree. I would say that sometimes we just have to open our eyes to the reality of simple truth we know is right there in front of us.

Hey TC, It just don't work that way. You turn from sin and turn to Christ in order to be saved, homosexuality is a terrible sin against God, one simply cannot be a practicing homosexual and be saved at the same time. A person who condones homosexuality is not being led by the Spirit of God but by the Devil...end of story.

You turn from sin and turn to Christ in order to be saved, homosexuality is a terrible sin against God, one simply cannot be a practicing homosexual and be saved at the same time. A person who condones homosexuality is not being led by the Spirit of God but by the Devil...end of story.

Not quite. If this were true, the Bible would not be chock-full of stories of followers struggling with all sorts of things.

But that is not what this thread is about, either. We are speaking, here, of people being queer... being proud of such defiance of God... and the continued celebration of the condition they have chosen to live in.

All sin is the same. The problem with this one is its being popularized and shouted from the roof tops to be normal. Targeting our children, youth, college. The famous promote it and secular left make it to be like a civil rights movement.

If the church was to remain quiet what would happen? Are we commanded to remain quiet?

These posts have made their points very clearly that continued, unrepentant sin is the wrong that is the issue, not actually the gay issue.

If persistent arguing continues from this poster, I would ask the others to please ignore her & not allow continual arguing to overthrow this thread. I for one would like to find out more about the subject of the Op.

Im sorry but God begs to differ,being gay does exclude you from being a Christian and it is a sin.The only way you could say a person is gay and Christian is that they are struggling to come out of the lifestyle and understand that it is a sin and they are sincerely seeking help to leave the lifestyle.

Sis is sin.....The law stops the mouth of the whole world and we are all guilty.....the problem is we categorize and compartmentalize sins into nice, neat little boxes.........

Break the least of the commandments, guilty of the whole.....A little white liar is just as much of a sinner as Charles Manson and or the gays and lesbians listed in the two videos....

Jesus either paid the sin debt of humanity or he did not.....IT IS FINISHED and it's LEGAL implication is clear..........

Having said that........MY view on claiming to be Christian

Only Jesus can determine that or has the right to state who is and who is not.....the reason I say this is because MANY claim to be and are not.......I prefer a believer in Christ.........

We can rightfully judge dogma, doctrine and gospels by the word of God for sure.........I will say that THEIR activity is NOT Christ like.....but lest we forget...neither was Peter's when he denied the Lord three times...........

The term was first used as a term of derision in Acts.....and JESUS said they would be CALLED by my name, but did any one person label themselves as such?

so if someone who has homosexual temptations

these people CAN be christian
