genesis 1 creation

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1, 3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Twas the dawn of creation , throughout time and space.

Not a thing yet existed , but only Gods grace.

His word was then spoken ,with power and care.

To a void that was formless , just darkness was there.

His word loud commanded, "from shadows shine bright !"

And so was divided , the day from the night.

The light was called good , for to show us the way.

Thus evening and morning, became the first day.

When out of the light, then arose mighty power.

The firmaments made , in the second days, hour.

For He spoke to the waters, and spread them apart.

The heavens created , by faith from his heart

Yea "Let there be dry land !" And "Let there be seas!"

And" Let the earth bring forth her grass and her trees.

the herbs and her fruits , day three that would grow "

He spoke it with power , And then it was so.

So Then on the fourth day, he made heavens lights

He made them to rule over days and then nights

One light made greater and one he made less

The sun and the moon and the stars and the rest

The comets and planets the perfect design.

Sill running as clockwork, through out all of time.

To tell of the seasons , the months, weeks and days.

With time as a construct , to witness his ways

Come whales ! and come dolphins !, come fowls and come finches.

Come robins! and sparrows! , come catfish and tinches.

Come eagles ! and mallards! , come stingrays alive.

Come live all you creatures , from the sea, this day five

Now Let the earth bring forth ,mammals of land

To fill up the forests ,And crawl on the sand

Come cattle ! and bison! come foxes and hare.

Come lions !and tigers ! and horses and bear.

his image and glory ,he made man to be

Both male and then female , the likeness of He

He blessed them and gave them Dominion on earth

He told them , " be fruitful , have children by birth "

All things were created , by faith understood

The Lord God made all things, and all things were good

And so it was six days with all the works done

The Seventh day rested , the Lord who is one

Genesis 2-3 mankind

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;

and man became a living soul.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The man he made for glory , apart from sin and shame

to bear his righteous image , and to praise his holy name

to live with him in Eden , eat from the tree of life

but then came there temptations , to Adam and his wife

“thou shalt not die ! Twill make you wise “ , those subtle lies were said

beguiled by the serpents snare , till they were surely dead

And so thier eyes were opened , this knowledge now they knew

Good and evil , sin and death , those aweful things now true

then driven out from Eden , to dwell in toil and strife

Until the day along times way , sins curse would take thier life. “

Genesis 4 cain and abel

“And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“remember Abel , we were young

The many joyful songs we sung

from those branches , once we swung

we climbed n’ played we jumped n’ hung ?”

“now young brother , come with me

let’s go out to , our willow tree

beyond the field , where none can see

the plans I’ve made , for i and thee.”

“come follow after , far away

where none can hear , the things we say

when we get there , you can stay

and I’ll slip off , that other way

Behind you brother , noise may be

but worry not , it’s only me

Just wait there calmly , at that tree

that weeping willow , that you see

Now brother rest here , it is wise

we’ve walked so long , and have arrived

soon I’ll return , with your surprise

Sweet brother just , keep shut your eyes

Now dear fellow , you can see

I’ve plotted plans, to murder ye

to bury you , beneath this tree

A weeping willow , now for thee

Now brother I am cast away

Left lonesome without words to say

i killed you brother , yesterday

And Now this curse , my debt to pay “

Someday I’ll come , your grave to see

There at our tree , we used to be

Brothers there upon our tree

Your weeping willow , haunting me

Forever always haunting me

Young brother abel where you be ,

beyond the field beneath the tree

the one that holds those memories….

Pretty much just re wording scripture to rhyme . It’s fun I think trying to rhyme the message
When I wrote poetry I had to do it with a dictionary and a thesaurus, and tear the English language apart ... and I had no framework within which to work, really, beyond meter and rhyme... I was just trying to express my truth... to someone who didn't want to hear it, I might add, and it's one of the reasons why I turned to paper and pen...

Yes I used to fill books with paper and pen but can’t write with pens these days because of ole’ Arthur hanging around.

i sort of can but it’s painful and not decipherable anymore so I don’t really but I loves the whole process of oen and paper still do but now I operate on this slider thing and a oon pad with a digital screen

i used write a lot in the military at first some of it got very dark and gory though , sort of Edgar Allen Poe ish ….so I stopped for a long time after that picked it up again in my fourties’ or so

Its always just been a pastime especially after I quit drinking to keep my mind right and realaxed and also it helps me consider scripture looking for a meaning I can make rhyme somehow and keep in the syllable rythym established beforhand

It’s sort of therapeutic even still but really was in tbe old days

heres one you may relate to given some of our recent interactions I’ve shared part of it I believe before but

“There was a long long time ago, by a sea called Galilee .

That a man there preached truly , by the gospel ye know …..who died for you and me

And this man had lived , with no other thought , Than to love and be loved by thee .

When I was a child , I thought as a child, Bout this man from Galilee…..

I thought and then pondered , imagined and wondered . “why did he do this for me ? “

How he loved with a love , that was more than love, when he died for us , hanged on the tree

this Love was the reason that once long ago, Through This king from Galilee

His blood was then given , so we could start livin ‘ , in his body who walked galilee

And A wind blew from heaven , and quickened inside us , the spirit of life that sets free .

So now all us sinners are turned into saints . Redeeming our Faith that shall be

Through one empty sepulcher , filled with the life , of the son from Galilee

His angels, rejoicing , so often in heaven.
For one who repents among we

Yea! that was the calling , as all men know, Of the Lord from Galilee

His breath came from heaven , that spirit from God , hes opened our eyes so we see

That his love it is stronger by far than the love , Of those who are like you and me……And even more worthy than we

Nay! neither angels in Heaven, Nor demons beneath .Can ever dissever our souls from the love, of our God who once walked Galilee

And the moon never shines , without bringing us rhymes Of his beautiful face we shall see .

And the stars never rise, but I know the pure eyes , Of the lord always watch ‘ore me

And so each night passes , I lie down in rest . And I thank you Lord Jesus , for passing that test

Yes thank you Lord Jesus for back in that day , the time when your light shined and walked Galilee

To tell of your kingdom preached forth from that day

the kingdom by the sea , down by the sounding sea ,

the day the light shined , as a sword that unbinds , by your word , come from Galilee…”

you may notice the structure is one after “Annabella lee” from Poe lol
