Have you ever met anyone that was a genius or had a gift or talent that was simply amazing yet they didnt even have to learn it?

I remember one girl at school said she had a photographic memory and she was always getting the highest scores in tests and exams she didnt even need to study just read something ONCE and could recall it word for word.

She said she wasnt that smart but just could do that.
I think thats amazing I cant even remember dance moves either like you see a routine once and then you can do it straightaway It takes me ages to practise and get it right. Or someone who can play music by ear.

There is possibly a gift or talent that I might have but I dont really know what it is. Does everyone have one? it would be cool to discover you could do something you didnt even know you could do.
 
My uncle is a genius at knowing people. If he says you can trust somebody, you can trust him. I always ask my uncle which bank he uses, which dentist, which car mechanic...
 
Just for fun why not everyone on here take an IQ test. I dont know my IQ score I recall doing one for high school but wasnt given my results.

Geniuses are those that score 200 or over. They could be doing university level at 3 years old. Imagine, just being able to pick things up just like that. There's many children that are precocious, but few are prodigies. I do think if you had that gift or talent it would be hard not to have others feel they could exploit you.
 
Growing up in elementary school had a friend that later became a Plasma Engineer for the Department of Defense. He was a pretty serious cat, not sure if he appreciated humor at all. He showed me his dad's porno collection when I was about 9. Than I drew pictures of boobs in elementary school and my teacher gave me such a huge lecture.

Anyways, later his dad told me that a big university in the area offered his kid a free scholar ship at age 13. His dad later told he didn't want his son going to college at that age. His dad mentioned that he was suppose to be like top 5 smartest kids in the U.S.. I told my mom, if he is so smart, why didn't he surf?

We moved back to California when I was 10. Got into surfing and skateboarding. Better than reading text books in my honest opinion.
 
Text books are so dry. But, people read them. The geniuses scan them, I dont think they even need to really read them, so they could get through ten in a day if they wanted to, its child's play for them...like surfing I guess.

people used to call going online 'surfing the internet'
 
I would fail an IQ test get too distracted.

I was watching Good Will Hunting, and thought amazing maths isn't my strongest subject. But imagine being a human calculator and just being able to solve any problem.

Could come in handy? Then I was thinkng what about our spiritual gifts? although some peoole seem to disparage those who have them, even in the church. I have heard of some say, if xx can heal others, why dont they go and work in the hospital, or why dont they heal themselves?

or if xxx can speak in tongues, why dont I understand them. they cant possibly be speaking in tongues cos I cant undertsand what they are saying. I do notice that people dont possess gifts seem to put down those who have them and dismiss God who gave them the gift, which is really sad. They just think they are putting it on or are drunk.
