Child slayer George Zimmerman has now been arrested for assault on his new girlfriend that he lives with. This is not his wife, but a new girlfriend.

Zimmerman has had other brushes with the law since his acquittal.
Zimmerman and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute in September just days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers, but police later said no charges were filed against either of them because of a lack of evidence.
Zimmerman has also been pulled over three times for traffic stops since his acquittal. He was ticketed for doing 60 mph in a 45 mph zone in Lake Mary in September and was given a warning by a state trooper along Interstate 95 for having a tag cover and windows that were too darkly tinted. He was also stopped near Dallas in July and was given a warning for speeding.
In 2005, Zimmerman had to take anger management courses after he was accused of attacking an undercover officer who was trying to arrest Zimmerman's friend.
Later that year, Zimmerman's former fiancee filed for a restraining order against him, alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman responded by requesting a restraining order against her. Both requests were granted. No criminal charges were filed.

NO he killed a young adult. to describe this person as a kid implies they are 5 years old. At 17 He could have left home, got married, got a job and had a baby. Can a child do that? No. So he is therefore an adult, and I stand by my point that calling the victim a kid is mis-leading and is obviously designed to enrage and push your agenda.

He's a jerk, but it could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt as to whether his killing of (young adult) Trayvon Martin was indeed murder.

This is why we have a legal system, otherwise people attack other out of political expediency and succeed in doing so. Very few of us, I think, cheered the man.

What I, for one, cheered was that the rule of law was given its due. If you wanted a different outcome, you should have prayed that non-ideological people were involved with his prosecution. The crime they would have tried to nail him for would have been lowered and he probably would have gotten nailed.

That's why I used the term 'slayer', because he was declared innocent of murder by a court. He wasn't declared innocent of killing the child.

Slayer is another term for killer. He killed an unarmed 17 year old boy.

Don't worry, I've not forgotten that you lot saw him as a hero. I doubt the Lord has forgotten what's in each of your hearts either.

The race-baiting witch hunt will eventually get him. Reminds me of a Southpark episode I saw before I became a Christian. It was predicated on the idea that teen celebrities are brought from nowhere and raised up to a high position only so we can have the joy of tearing them down and reducing them to nothing, then we sacrifice them for the corn crop.

Same thing happening here. He was supposed to be a sacrifice for the corn crop, but he got away. They'll get him eventually.

I just hope those who have murder on their hearts *cough* not anyone on this thread of course *cough*, would repent. Was Zimmerman in the wrong? Probably so, but that doesn't mean we get to demand his head on a pole.

Hero? When did I ever use the term hero? Far from it. I thought he was an overzealous moron who got himself in heaps of trouble, but didn't deserve the death penalty.

zimmerman had the car.

zimmerman chased after the boy... mind you, not adult... after emergency responders warned him to stop and DISCONTINUE following/chasing after the young, unarmed man.

what young black man in his right mind would chase a FULL GROWN man, in a car.. not knowing whether he was armed or not. ?

most of this thread has made me sick. i was worried when i saw it, i tried to ignore it...

there's so much evidence against zimmerman, it's astounding.

neighborhood patrol, taking the law into his own hands... chasing after someone who is unarmed and isn't even legally an adult yet.

he took mixed martial arts classes, AND can you even read his body language !?

to me, he has the cold dead eyes of a psychopath.
