They said on the news a short while ago that a 16 year old girl has been missing since about 1am this morning/ night. (it is now 7pm) They found her shoes and cell phone at a playground, which makes it all seem very strange.

Please pray God keeps her safe and returns her home to her family.
 
Prayers sent for her...
and all the missing children I have seen in the news lately.
We have a young man...seventeen go missing at the end of the school year.
They have not found him yet. He has been in my prayers too.
 
Praying for both of these teens...may God protect them and bring them home.

Father we know you love your little children soo much.
Thankyou LORD up there in heaven watching over us all.
You know all things, you know our coming and going and when we rise and sit down.

Our family lost a missing child. (but heaven gained him)
This so touches my heart. :(
mercy, Lord, please, extend your mercy to the children, and to those who love them.
Father, no one is " lost" from your perspective. You know the location of each of us.
Please, guide the searchers, and the authortiies, to the locations of these little ones.
Guard the children, where ever they are. Keep them safe, and bring them home to their families.
I ask that the children would know You are with them, and would not be afraid.
For Jesus' sake.

They have made "some findings", but can't say if they are related to the girl yet.
 
More than anything (other than the children themselves) I feel for the families. We had to wait 5 days and 4 nights for news about our little guy (my sister's son), but some parents have waited years. :(

I renew my prayers for this child, and all missing little ones.
God is good, and faithful. ♥
 
I notice this was posted a day ago. For this girl, I prayed.
Also I would really like to know if she was ever found. I'm also 16, and I visit a park past my walk every day.... I never thought It was dangerous. I really hope she's okay.
 
Tonight before bed, I'll put in an extra prayer for her. She can never have too many. Again, please keep me updated?♥

No :( No more traces of her. The parents have even promised a large sum of money for anyone who can give a tip that will help solve the case.
 
Abba, please, since You know the location of this child, I ask again that You guide those who actively seek. Please do not allow the authorities to wax cold in their search. Renew them to their original earnest search of this child.
For mercy's sake, allow this little one to be found. For the parents' sake, for the child's sake, for Your own glory, because You are Who You say You are.
