You are taking the verse out of context. Dont worry, it happens often.

Paul was talking to the Corinthians about their hair length because it meant very different things than it did in our culture. The reason it was shameful for men to have long hair back then was because:

They were trying to look like women. It was shameful in their culture because there was to be a distinct look between the sexes.

Also if you believe so strongly about this then you have to take conciteration about the next verse. Are women with short hair dishonering God? Are they less spiritual and therefore sinning?

With that said, the rest of the chapter deals with head coverings. It was a sign of respect to cover your head while praying. Also being bareheaded or shaved was a symbol of being loose and unmoral in this culture.

Also if thats so true then why was Sampson's power from GOD was gone when Delilah shaved his long sinful locks?

Think about it.

I Feel that the fact that it is in the bible - should be a sign that God does not approve of men having long hair.
Short hair in women - like long hair in men - depends on the lengh, how short are we talking here coz I belive that it is a sin for women to dilibretly shave there hair bald. Just because someone is less spirituall that dosent mean they are sinning.
Sampson was in the old testiment and there are certain sciptures that Jesus had over ruled in the new testement from things which were said in the old testiment i.e not to eat shelled fish like shrimp but then it says in the new - cast nothing away all is good to eat. Also Sampson was a certian type of Christian.

Yeah of course, and if I didn't like it,I'd maybe give him some advice about his haircut:)
But I can't imagine that I wouldn't like it because long hair is awesome!:)

Obvioulsly there is nothig better than to read the bible and pray to God and christ, but I do not think you are one to tell me to study more. Likewise to yourslef - you should study more
