Something all together different with these men. The best way to say it is that if you listen to three or more sermons from each of these you will notice that you have experienced growth and transformation. You will probably say...I think I am having serious encounters with God and the Holy Spirit through their rich content. You might even find other preaching weak and light, or "something missing".

So after doing a little bit more research About Rick Warren it appears that maybe his message can be A little bit watered down so to speak. But although I do believe it’s affective impractical living.

1) Rick Warren

need two more...
You do know you are just asking for others opinions.
People tend to listen to people who they agree with.
I choose to not waste time with internet preachers and spend that time in the Word.

Which means you are trusting in your own interpretation right?

Not saying that is right or wrong, but maybe if someone had a PHD in theology and studied deeply would he be more qualified to “interpret”. Like I wouldn’t want any average Joe working on my brain surgery and surely wouldn’t trust myself or anyone not vetted.

Jesus taught we are to take ALL things to Him, and Holy Spirit would guide in ALL truth.
That works great for His Own.
Most however hold to an outward form of godliness denying this power.

Hebrews 13:17 – On obeying church leaders:

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”

Ephesians 4:11-13 – The purpose of church leaders:

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God.”

1 Corinthians 12:28 – The structure of church roles:

“And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.”

This verse reflects the diversity of roles within the church, each essential to the body of Christ and part of God’s design for the church.

I do not interpret Scripture as many do. I study Scripture, looking up the original meaning of every word in the original language. I look at who is speaking, Who is being spoken to. What is he speaking about. Why is he speaking about this and to these people.
Is this about the past, present, or future.
I also study all related Scripture. I meet face to face with others and study with them. Asking questions.
And the most important thing is to spend much time in prayer and put aside what I think I know and allow the Scripture to teach me.
If you get three people with a PHD in theology in a meeting you will have several "interpretations" of most Scripture.
The people on TV and the internet are there to make money. And they make a lot of money.

Interesting… thanks for sharing, so basically the Word… which is God will speak to the Holy Spirit (also God) living inside us and teach us.

How about the late Derek Prince?
Brother Prince has been a great blessing to me through the years. I think he goes a little bit overboard with seeing demons in everything, but his teachings in other areas have always been very sound.
