Hey everyone!

At work, we use gmail. I would prefer a picture of me in gmail because I just feel it does more of a professional feel when I'm contacting people.

My Google account has a picture on it and even in gmail, it shows my profile picture in the top right corner. However, when I send e-mails, my profile picture doesn't show up.

I noticed it acted up yesterday when I worked from home and saw that the profile picture in the top right corner that is usually there, wasn't on my laptop. But I'm at the office now, and it's showing up fine. But still not showing up when I send e-mails.

Can anyone help me?

Have you tried...

  • Checking that your setting for "My Picture" is set to "Visible to everyone" in your Gmail general settings?
  • Uploading the picture again/changing the picture?
  • Drinking a Red Bull, followed by singing (and dancing to) "Dancing in the Street"?
  • Checking your Google+ profile (if you set one up)? Gmail is linked to that. The discrepancy could be there.
  • Used The Force?

1) Yes, it's visible to everyone :)
2) I haven't done that.
3) About that.....
4) Our work isn't associated with Google +
5) I didn't think a light saber would be beneficial on a laptop.....

Nobody said anything about aggressive negotiations, but this is probably your problem. Use The Force and get back to me with your results. :p
