Not sure what you mean, I posted a verse and commented on it then answered your reply.

OK...the verse said 'borrow'....I would not call that 'stealing....since it was not an evil plot/intent on the isrealite women's part to rob....they were simply doing what God said....and HE would never tell them to steal or deceive with false intent.

GOD owns everything. what do you mean when you say "God doesn't give money" everything is technically His.

Moses, Joseph, and Abraham's journey with God was not about money at all...but YES God did bless them.

this verse means you can only serve the world or God! you can't serve both!

God doesn't care how you make your money but how you use/spend it.
Taking references from the Bible, God has special arrangements with Egypt knowing fully well that they are idolatrous.

He directed Joseph there to make money & fame and Joseph in turn help God's people

He directed Moses there to gain wisdom and Moses in turn use it to help God's people

He directed Jesus Christ there and he in turn died to save mankind

He directed Abraham there, Abraham even lied in order to get passage and food for God's people

God does not give money. According to the Bible in Matthew 6:24

24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

devil is the ruler of this earth, he owns the money that is the only reason why God could direct He's people to the land of idolaters to get their wealth.

I think you can make your money or get your wisdom anywhere but how you use/spend it is what God is Interested in.

I don't think God cares much about what occupation we pursue. I think He cares a great deal about how we treat people in our chosen occupation.

Really? So some one can have the occupation of a drug dealer, or a hitman for hire, or pimping out prostitutes? And God doesn't care? In THOSE "occupations" people ALWAYS end up DEAD..

When you borrow with no intention of returning.

Lest we forget....the Egyptians had paced the Hebrews into bondage and worked them as slaves after a Pharaoh rose up that knew not Joseph, and they had increased their burden to the point that their cry came up before God.....God being just and fir would never instruct his children or people to do something that was contrary to his nature and character....the jewels, gold, silver etc. was owed BACK PAY for SLAVERY RENDERED and would eventually be used to finance the construction of the tabernacle <----and used for the instruments of gold, silver, priestly garments etc.....

AND...if I remember right...in the N.T. it states that is one needs to borrow something that we are to give and not expect it back....This being within the context of a brother or sister in Christ asking.....My view is we are all family and we are to hold all things common and if we, as the children of God all held to this principle...NO ONE would ever lack or have need of anything to some extent it seems....

since when is 'borrowing - stealing ?

that word "borrow" in the kjv is literally "ask" in Hebrew ((according to my very amateur research skills)) -- in ye olde Anglish it's the same meaning, though in modern English we typically attach the connotation of meaning to return.

when you ask someone for something, and they give it to you, it's not theft - even if you never intend to give it back. it's a gift / donation.

If you keep reading, the Egyptians give it to them...so not really stealing.

1. God does care how you make your money. He is against prositutes, murderers and thieves. Lots of Bible verses against that type of occupation to make money.

2. God gives money and jobs and everything we need. Jesus had Peter take a coin out of a fish to pay temple taxes. God provides for all we need, be it money or wisdom

3. Jesus sent His disciples out without a coin purse while he was alive,but the told them they would need one shortly before His cruxification. Therefore Jesus was aware of the purpose of money.

4. If you mean that God doesn't care if you are a doctor making millions or a janitor just trying to survive? Then yes I agree and would point to the story of Jesus and the widow who gave two mites.....she gave more than all others because she gave to God ALL.

God cares about How we make our money and what we do with it.

we should do both for the glory of God and not self.
