This testimony is a few days overdue.

Over the course of the last few months, my car had been sending me some major warning signals, and I sensed that I wasn't going to have it much longer. Hoping beyond hope, I prayed and asked God to give me another car. I say "hoping beyond hope" because I truly do live a very isolated life. Not by choice, but mostly because I have been shunned by just about everyone due to my Christian faith/walk. With such being the case, by solely natural reasoning, I could not foresee how God could ever answer my prayer, but I pushed past that, and I prayed in faith, just the same.

Well, about a week or so ago, it happened. My car died an irreparable death or a death way more costly to revive than it would ever be worth. Among other things, my electrical system went, and the parts alone would have cost me $2,200.00, and that was not the only problem which needed to be fixed. The next day, which was a scheduled day off from work for me, someone who knows me (and I am practically unknown :() came up to me, totally unsolicited, and offered to give me one of their cars for free. In fact, he told me that he had already discussed it with his wife, and they both were in agreement. When I asked him why they wanted to give me one of their cars for free, he simply told me because I am a nice guy. I did accept the car, and I recently had the title transferred to my name, registered it, and transferred my old license plates to it.

All I can say is that God is great and greatly to be praised.

Amen!
I am glad to see we have one thing we agree with despite other things we disagree with.

1. Miracles!
Especially as a response to prayers!

Glory to God!

Lol.

I didn't even know that you and I were in disagreement on matters. You must have flown under my radar somehow. :p

After I posted this testimony, it got me thinking about other times when God has shown himself strong on my behalf, and I had to fight back tears. My life truly has been one of almost constant betrayal and rejection, and seeing God help me has brought some comfort to my soul, and has given me hope that I am on the right path.

I don't know what else to say except that Jesus is Lord.

Today was a devastatingly bad day, and unless God intervenes quickly, the aftereffects will be even more devastating.

Lord, I need another testimony of your goodness.

Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

To be continued...

Thank you for sharing. Yes God does answer prayers. So whatever you’re going through right now Lee not on your own understanding, but trust in the Lord.
