God in All Things
In the lily's bloom so white and pure,
I see God's glory strong and sure.
For as its petals shine so bright,
God’s majesty beams with holy light.
Mountains stand, unshaken and tall,
Like God’s strength that never falls.
Through storm and time they still endure,
A rock of refuge, firm and sure.
Like a river flowing free,
God’s mercy washes over me.
It carves the stone, it shapes the land,
Yet lifts me up with gentle hands.
Flames refine like trials test,
God’s justice burns yet gives us rest.
Not to destroy, but make us whole,
And cleanse the dross within the soul.
Look to the stars in endless height,
Each one a promise shining bright.
For as they glow through darkest skies,
So God’s covenant never dies.
The wind unseen yet felt so near,
Speaks of God who’s always here.
He breathed in dust, and man was made,
His Spirit still gives us life today.
Like finest gold that gleams so true,
God’s commandments shine anew.
No rust can stain, no time decay,
His holy words never fade away.
As pastures call the sheep to stay,
God’s love will never turn away.
His voice still calls, both firm and mild,
To lead us home, His wandering child.
As evening fades and peace draws near,
God’s Sabbath whispers, “I am here.”
A holy time, a gift so blessed,
In Him alone my soul finds rest.
When morning breaks with golden rays,
I see God’s truth that lights my days.
And when the night begins to fall,
His presence shines, the light of all.
God is everywhere, in all we see,
In earth, in sky, in you, in me.
His love, His truth, His mighty hand,
Forever rules the sea and land.
