or you know the whole private message thing is always a thought. personally I like some privacy when I'm conversing with people and not just about ideas.
Dude...I'm not opposed to talking with anybody. I just think that not only is this insanely informal, but it is also quite rude and not taking the other users of this site into consideration. I belong to a few other discussion boards. And if ANYBODY made a thread like this simply to chat with someone, they would get sooo much crap from the other users. The administerators would be complaining of how I'm misusing the forum and in severe cases I'd get a warning and get suspended for awhile.
Now don't misinterpret that as they are misguided people or mean or something and this site is different because everyone is loving and accepting of one another... It's just common sense. Threads are not meant for personal discussion. That is what IMs PMs and Chatrooms are for.
This is a waste of space on this site. I don't know entirely how it works, but I'm pretty sure the owner of this site has to pay more money based on how much space is used. Conserve space. Don't make six topics about 1 person when it could easily and neatly be confined to one area.
There are people on this site that don't care about me and don't feel like constantly seeing my blasphemous attitude. Some feel like talking to me, others have more important things to talk abotu or simply are uninterested on these subjects. Why should they have to see my stupid username every day not only in one thread, but in multiple threads?
Do you REALLY want to just have some small talk? You want to talk about our days and the weather and really uninteresting things? That's even more of a reason to just speak in IMs. No one wants to read a whole thread of

How ridiculous. Silly indeed, as one user mentioned earlier. Small talk or a more indepth conversation should be understood as a common place for IMs. If you want a more intellectually gratifying conversation, we already have the other thread... I don't see what this thread does other than just furthering the witch hunt and putting me in the lime light for all to see....as if the whole forum hasnt already seen the other topic, your gonna make sure every last member knows my name. This is just a totally unnessessary thread.
Does anyone here agree with me? Why do I feel like I'm the only one who feels this way? Have you not seen how other discussion boards are ran? I'm feeling all alone here.

Furthermore I request all who read this to say a prayer in their heart for you. Thats why it's in the prayer suggestion thread column. I do nothing without a purpose and my purpose here is not to single you out but to impart as much love towards you as I can possibly muster.
P.S. unlike yourself I am not so technologically bright and am only learning how to use computers and these websites within the last month. I don't know how to get in to a chat room or...IM you as you say (whats that mean?) As I said to someone else here I'm an old farmboy I can fix just about anything on a farm you can think of but computers are new to me so please be patient with me. I'm just learning.

I'm sorry then. Didnt know you werent familiar with computers. I'm terribly at technology too, actually. I'm about as far from bright as you can get when it comes to technology. I had to get a friend create my facebook for me!

Thanks Michelle for the info but everytime I try and go in a chat room it kicks me out (I think that's what's happening anyway) at least in a thread people have to THINK about what they're saying before they type it. Most times when chatting (at least this is what I have found) people talk without thinking out cleary what their position is that they are trying to make then the next thing you know it's RANT TIME and the topic that you started on is as far away from what your talking about as Pluto is to the Sun
