Many of us feel worthless from time to time. We question our purpose and wonder does God really have a plan for me? Then doubt starts to set in, making us question everything about life.
Hi there, person who is reading this! Did you know that you're extremely special and loved? I've noticed that you put yourself down a lot and that you don't think very highly of yourself. You call yourself stupid, dumb, ugly, worthless, etc..Why do you do that? Remember that man who died for you so that you could have eternal life? Remember how He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our inequities? That's an incredible act of love! And you know what? He thought you were important so that is why He died.
Yes! You are REALLY that important! It's the honest to goodness truth
We are God's children and no matter what we may do, it's never enough to make Him dislike or forsake us. Our well-being and feelings matter to God more than one may think. Everyone is born with a purpose. Whether that purpose is to be a mailman, mom, or doctor- we are all called to do something in life! Even if you are feeling discouraged where your life is at right now, that does not determine your future. Get those nasty lies out of your head now!! Lies will never benefit you! You need to have faith, my dear friend. I think we tend to forget that we worship the one who created planets, stars, trees, and breathed life onto the earth. Trust Him.
"The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy." - John 10:10
Satan is ruthless and jumps at the chance to whisper lies into our ears. He will rob you of your happiness, sanity, peace, and comfort. He is hungry for destruction and will not hesitate to attack.
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - Philippians 4:8
So do not entertain the thought that you are a stupid and worthless person. You are far from being categorized as that. Like everyone on this green earth, we are treasured by God. If God sent His son to die for you, I think that says a lot what He thinks about you.
So don't let the bad times get you down. There is always strength, hope, comfort and love in Christ.
