God rained down fire and brimstone on those two cities,
so I find it hard to believe he would spare Tel Aviv.
Simply, there must be at least 10 righteous men in the city. That was all that was required of God's mercy on Sodom and Gomorrah. Also, are you honestly claiming that God would withdraw His hand from NYC because of a Pride parade? Almost 3 million lives because of a fraction of that number living among them?
You can't have it both ways. Either Israel is launching a biblical war for survival, in which innocents lost is sad but unavoidable, or the Israelis are overreacting to the actions of terrorists. You want to deny what both Israelis have experienced and what Hamas terrorists have already said, "Their God is changing the path of the missiles in mid-air." (That is a quote from a Hamas terrorist.)

Yet you yourself claim to know exactly what God's will is, based on current events. That's impossible (and that's my whole point), ultimately we can only 'know' God's will through scripture. Talking about scripture: Sodom and Gomorrah couldn't be saved in the first place, because no one is righteous (Rom 3:10), except Christ. Turn to Him if you want to be saved; that's also the message to the partying masses of Tel Aviv.

From your comment, 'there must be a God.' From reading other posts by you I feel you have doubts about God. Maybe you need to hear the 'rest of the story' by people that feel as you do. After all 'Birds of a feather flock together'. Although we love you here with hope that you'll change and act nice (even Paul changed his mind about Christians) please consider posting with people that feel as you do. I'll try and help you find the ideal place where you can do that. They may be able to help answer your question, "Ok well explain how it happened if it was GOD?"

This statement 'offened' me as well as when you posted "God rained down fire and brimstone on those two cities, so I find it hard to believe he would spare Tel Aviv." Comparing Tel Aviv to Sodom and Gomorrah is sick and you should consider getting a 'check-up-from- the-neck-up.'
God has a plan for Israel and the Jews. The very people God said, “You are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession” (Deuteronomy 7:6).
Do you find what God said "hard to believe"? Like some Christians you're either against God's plan for Israel or are trying to change it. A plan that will bring back the very One that we as Christians long for. The return of Jesus Christ - a Jew - where He will stand on the Mount of Olives. In the land of Israel! God's land that He gave to the Jews. And He will show the 'Jews' of Israel "whom they have pierced" (Zechariah 12:10) that He is the Messiah.

No. Evidently you missed the quotation marks, that was an ironic comment. I don't think you can know God's will in current events, only through scripture (you should know, you read my posts)

So they can do whatever they want? I don't think so (Hosea 14:1). Furthermore, I don't think this highly secularized, imperialistic nation state of 'Israel,' has a lot to do with the Israel you speak of.

We may yet live to see just that situation. I would not consider the 10 righteous to be a hard fast rule. I see it as an accommodation to Abraham.
A biblical war in the sense that step-brothers are fighting one another. Might argue the innocents in Gaza thing too. Are these the same innocents that strap bombs to themselves to blow up buses?

No, My point is, when both the bombers and the people being bombed see missiles being directed mid-air by some invisible force, it is not beyond logic to believe it is God's hand.
Possibly so but given the quality of the missiles being used it's not a great leap to see that they cannot hit any specific target even if they try. It is much more difficult to find an innocent in Gaza.

UMMM Have you ever flown model rockets or seen early footage of early rocket flight fails? Home made rockets do all kinds of crazy things. (Which most of Hamas rockets are) If you have ever seen early rocket fail footage,some have done 360 degrees,90 degree right angles,some have drifted sideways off the launch pad etc. The Germans had those problems with the V2,the US had those problems with the Titan and Mercury rockets also,so.... I would take it with a grain of salt so to speak. Now if you were talking about this happening to Russian BM-30 Smerch or something along the lines of that type rocket which is far more proven to be very effective at hitting it target then homemade rockets which are far more likely to do all the crazy things that low tech rockets do.

Some missionary and his wife were in an area that had a (witch doctor) for lack of appropriate term...maybe shaman...anyway, he got word that the shaman had gathered a bunch of villagers and they were coming that night to kill the missionary and his wife......the guy and his wife prayed all night and nothing happened that night...about 10 years later he won the shaman to the truth and asked the guy why he had not come to kill him that night a long time ago.....The guy said...oh we did come to kill you, but the Shining MEN on your roof scared all the villagers away............
I heard this some time ago....no reason for me to think that they missionary lied......!

Okay, the rockets being used against Israel that the Dome Shield is designed to destroy are Russian. This was a Russian rocket, it was seconds from impact. Read the actual article instead of commenting.
