God using this site to bring healing to my once negative views of americans

It would be wise to be careful for what I say here my intention is not to insult but rather encourage perhaps there are americans with negative views on kiwis on kiwis on who knows! so Ill say it in as few words as I can and wont go into details how I got negative views on americans because I wouldnt want to hurt you guys the focus anyhow is how God can bring healing when weve been dissapointed in areas in our lives and God heals us ,surprises us. I know know americans rock and ive made friends and cool friends on here.

We had a american couple at church and I had a good friend of mine who is american on the whole im not going to say they were bad people I know God wouldnt want me to see them as that, but a couple of times these peoples were rude and impatient and I from that point closed the door to making friendships with americans I think the media and peoples negative views can distort a memory of people being rude and impatient a couple times or just in general which im sorry if that was hard to read (if your american) but if I dont testify of how God can heal a selfish person like me how are you to have hope (were all selfish) ? Testimonies are encouraging. But... heres my but being on the CC chat particularly opened me up to see that americans are just the same as any human they not super humans or less than but actually and that as Christians particularly they are very loving and caring and helpful just as any person is from another country. See heres what my sin , my problem was:
hatred and prejudice . But God is awesome he has changed me changed my views and well you guys rocks and I wouldnt mind even visiting there one day too.

If you dealing with issues such as pride, hatred , judgement and prejudice let me assure God can heal you and take that away!

You assumed all "Americans" were that way... That´s happens when generalizing...

Not all Aussies are like this (not the way movie makers saw them):

By 1999 I worked with a man from that place. When we worked we all wore long pants, while he wore shorts (and we laughed, in secret)

By time he knew the trick in latinamerican culture but, today, many ppl are wearing shorts (particularly ladies) same way he was used to come to work.

because of masterchef AU i'm predisposed to like Kiwis & think of them as generally kind, generous and passionate :)

waaaaaay different than the people on the US version of that tv show!

it goes to show though, with anyone, you can't trust prejudice or some television or whatever to give you an impression of them. you have to actually meet and interact with people before you know anything about who they really are
