GODS COMFORT BEFORE I fALL ASLEEP AT NIGHT

Having got throughout the day,it's soon time for bed
Yet the residue of anguished thoughts swirl within my head
Worries and concerns plagued me most of the day
They are still in my head,I can't pray them away
Concerns for my family,concerns about my own life
Anxious emotions rise within my heart,'will we be alright?'


I know god is with me,I know he cares...he's there
Yet these anguished thoughts remain,they're still there
They paint a picture that says 'you won't make it!'
Such negative thought fill my heart..enough to break it
Will I be alright in the end?..I ask god in despair
"YES is his answer,"....deep down I know he cares.


I don't understand always what's going on
i just have to trust in him when things go wrong
As I lay in my bed and it's past midnight
I say "lord I trust you that it's gonna be alright"
I can't figure it all out,just have to leave it to him
leave him to run my life,just trust I'm gonna WIN


As I lay there in the quietness of the night
No one knows I'm praying with all my might
seeking to pour out all my cares to my saviour
asking him to strengthen me and make me braver!
I sense his presence,I sense it's gonna be alright
i sense him saying 'rest in me..this is not your fight!"


I soon drift off to sleep with that thought in my mind...
'The battle is the lords'..leave those anxious thoughts behind!!!

I like how u put that comfort into words, just to point out u can watch out more for this very important matter: (See i also leave words uncapitalized when in a rush, but always capitalize His name.)

I know God is with me, I know He cares... He's there...
