lol. I believe we will not know till it happens. Much like John the baptize was not Elijah, yet he was Elijah. Although I think some hardnose people will say it has to be.

It's not explicitly dealt with in Revelation. In the Old Testament, a few places, you have David administering that jurisdiction.

God reiterated Abraham’s blessings to Jacob in Genesis 28:10-15 by saying Jacob’s descendants would be as numerous as “the dust of the earth” and all peoples on earth/all families of the earth [nations] will be blessed through you and your offspring. They would eventually spread to all four corners of the earth from the region of the Promised Land. Jacob’s name was later changed to “Israel” (Genesis 32:28), and he had 12 sons who became the “12 tribes of Israel.”

But the thing is, how can go specifically say "you and your offspring" and "in thee and thy seed" but in Genesis 12: 2-3, it is only "you?" Seems it's a whole lotta stretchin goin on...

They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises.
(Rom 9:4)
Isaiah 11:11-12 NIV - "In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth."

The disciples asked Jesus if this was the time He would give the Kingdom back ot Israel (this is before His Ascension, they were under the Romans)
this implies they meant a physical kingdom (Acts 1:6)
they knew OT prophecy where David was promised an eternal kingdom, his dynasty will forever (1 Kings 2:45)
David's kingdom was in Israel and the capital is Jerusalem. So I beleive Jesus will rule from Jerusalem. (I also beleive He rules in our hearts)
In the Lord'd prayer it says "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The earth was created for us-God gave us dominion but we blew it. It makes sense that He would come back to restore all that was lost.
If the disciples thought that the Kingdom of God was "physical", like in the O.T., then they were as much in error about it as were the Pharisees. Here is how we must conform our understanding
(Luk 17:20)
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
(Luk 17:21)
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
(Rom 14:17)
For the kingdom of God is ... righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Those left .... the believing mortal survivors of Israel will enter and populate His coming millennial kingdom upon the earth [Isaiah 11; 27:12-13; Zechariah 13:8-9; Matthew 24:29-31; Romans 11:25-36]
