No, I was saying that Bible needs to be understood in its proper context of what, when, why and to whom was said.

To take one verse from there, one from here another one from there and try to make it say somebody wants is wrong, similar to picking up random strawberries in a forest and collecting them to a basket (or to make a soup, it was another image, but similar meaning).
I would agree .Just don't throw out the strawberry picker with the bath water. Its how the Son of man made the devil flee the third as it is written ,strawberry, or cherry he fled.

What is the everlasting good news in regards to the kingdom? In a simplified form in regards to repentance and faith, it does sound like the same message, yet the content of the gospel of the kingdom, prior to the cross does not have the exact same "content" as the gospel of grace after the cross, as I showed you in Matthew 10:5-7; 16:21-22; Mark 16:14; Luke 18:31-34; 24:19-24, 44-47.

John the Baptist and the 12 disciples were preaching the gospel of the kingdom to Israel before the cross, yet where in their message did they say that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures? (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Why do you think Paul said "dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me" for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery if it was not previously a mystery before the cross? Paul also said the "Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel" in Ephesians 3:2-6. Is that what John the Baptist and the 12 disciples were preaching to Israel? No. What do you think the purpose of Peter's vision was in Acts 10:9-16? Revelation progresses from the OT throughout the NT.

This is what I mean by rightly dividing the word of truth.
Hello and good morning my time MMD,

Now are you still digging that hole for yourself? How are you ever going to get out if you dig your hole too deep? How can you be saved by the Gospel if you do NOT KNOW what the GOSPEL is? How now can you preach the GOSPEL to others if you do NOT know what the Gospel is? If the blind lead the blind will not they both fall into your ditch and not be able to get out?

Not only have you had to expand your definition of the Gospels three times already now you have to do it again because you do not know what the Gospel is. Your definition of the Gospel has gone from A to B to C.....

This is because you still do not KNOW what the good news is. The GOOD NEWS is JESUS is the GOSPEL.

The Gospel is JESUS <Jesus means Savior; John 1:29> and JESUS is THE WORD OF GOD (John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6). THE WORD OF GOD is the GOSPEL BECAUSE BY FAITH IT IS OUR SAVIOR and this the IS GOOD NEWS to those who BELIEVE. (John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 17:17; 14:6; Matthew 4:4)

Mark 1:1
The beginning of the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST; THE SON OF GOD <the WORD OF GOD; John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6>

This is the same Gospel we preach unto you. It is the EVERLASTING GOSPEL because HE is EVERLASTING. My friend put your shovel down REPENT and BELIEVE the GOSPEL (God's WOR D) for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND .

FEAR God and GIVE GLORY to HIM for the HOUR of GOD'S Judgemen t has come and worship HIM that MADE the HEAVENS and the EARTH and the waters and the fountains

This is the creator you are NOT REMEMBERING when he BIDS YOU REMEMBER The SABBATH DAY to KEEP it HOLY because HE is HOLY.

ALL praise and honor to HIM who loves us. The KINGDOM of GOD has come near you this day. Do you hear HIS Voice? It is the WORD of God, the EVERLASTING Gospel.

i'll take Paul's word over yours. he knew the Law far better than you, and he did not add Sabbath to a direct question, he said " believe in Jesus. you disagree with him, I do not. and, just to be clear. you ain't my friend . you deny salvation through Christ.
Hello gb9,

I believe all the Word of God including the writing of Paul, how about you? Is it me that disagrees with Paul in regards to BELIEVING and FOLLOWING God's Word? For me I am no one only a messenger pointing all to God's Word. We must decrease but He mus increase because ONLY God is true. If you do not FOLLOW what you believe you are indeed NOT a BELIEVER. I BELIEVE salvation is ONLY in Christ but you do not KNOW and BELIEVE that JESUS is the GOSPEL. If you did you would KNOW that HE is the WORD of GOD and the WORD of God IS the Gospel. If you do not know the Gospel haw can you be saved by it?

gb9 do you take the Word of Paul.............. 1

1. Paul teaches God's people keep the Sabbath Hebrews 4.
2. Paul tells gentiles that "what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of GOD" 1 Cor 7:19
3. Paul tells gentiles "it is not the HEARERS of the Law that are just before God but the DOERS of the Law will be justified... on the day when according to my GOSPEL God will judge all mankind" Rom 2:13-16
4. Paul asks that gentiles consider the doctrine of LAW "Do we then make void the LAW of God by our faith? God forbid! In fact we establish the Law of God" Rom 3:31
5. Paul tells ALL Christians that it is only the lost who will "not subject themselves to the Law of God neither indeed CAN they" Rom 8:6-8
6 Paul reaches all Christians under the NEW Covenant that God's LAW as known in Jer 31:31-33 is "written on the heart and mind" Heb 8:7-11
7. Paul tells all Christians that the OT text is to be used for Doctrine 2Tim 3:16
AND He never claims that "if I did not write it -- it is not scripture for us today" -- as one or two have imagined for us.
8. Paul tells all Christians that the 5th commandment is the "FIRST commandment with a promise" Eph 6:1-2 and is binding on all Christians.
9. God's Law (10 commandments) are holy, just and good (Rom 7:12)
10. God's Law gives us a knowledge of what sin is (Rom 3:20; 7:7)
11. The penalty of breaking God's Law without Jesus is death (Rom 6:23)
12. If we break God's Law we dishonor God (Rom 2:23)
13. If we sin we are "under the Law" and guilty before God (Rom 3:19)
14. We are saved by faith but our faith establishes the Law in us (Rom 3:31)
15. If we are saved by grace we should not break God's Law (Rom 6:1-7)
16. We should not break God's Law if we are under grace (Rom 6:15)
17. We are to serve the Law of God through the mind because that is where sin starts (Rom 6:17; 7:25; 8:4; 12:2)
18. It is God's Law that brings us to Jesus (Gal 3:24)
19. God's salvation frees us from sin so we can be obedient to God's Law and live a life of holiness (Rom 6:22)
20. We will be judged by God's Law and only those that are obedient will be justified because of their faith (Rom 2:4-13)
21. God's Law can only be obeyed through love and a changed heart which comes by faith in God's Word (Rom 2:21-29; 13:9-10; Heb 8:9-10)
22. If we break God's Law and are in unrepentant sin we will be lost and will received God's judgements (Heb 10:26-27)

gb9, do you take the writing's of Paul............... 2

ROMANS

Chapter 1
v5 By whom we have received GRACE AND APOSTLESHIP, for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name:
v16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION to every one that BELIEVES; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
v17, For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Chapter 2

v4, Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS OF GOD LEAD YOU TO REPENTANCE?
v5, But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasure up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
v6, WHO WILL RENDER EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS:
v7, To them who by patient continuance in WELL DOING seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:
v8, But unto them that are contentious, and DO NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, but OBEY UNRIGHTEOUSNESS ,<sin>, indignation and wrath,
v9, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
v10, But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that WORKS GOOD, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:2
v11, For there is no respect of persons with God.
v12, FOR AS MANY AS HAVE SINNED WITHOUT THE LAW SHALL PERISH WITHOUT THE LAW: and AS MANY AS HAVE SINNED IN THE LAW SHALL BE JUDGED BY THE LAW;
v13, For NOT THE HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST BEFORE GOD BUT THE DOERS OF THE LAW SHALL BE JUSTIFIED.

Chapter 3
v3, For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
v4, God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged.
v27, Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
v28, Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
v29, Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
v30, Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
v31, DO WE THEN MAKE VOID THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: YEA WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

Chapter 6

v1, What shall we say then? SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN, that grace may abound?
v2, God forbid. HOW SHALL WE THAT ARE DEAD TO SIN LIVE THERE ANY LONGER?
v6, Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN.
v7, For HE THAT IS DEAD IS FREED FROM SIN.
v10, For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, HE LIVES UNTO GOD.
v11, Likewise RECKON YOU YOURSELVES INDEED DEAD TO SIN, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
v12, LET NOT SIN THEREFORE REIGN IN YOUR MORTAL BODY, THAT YOU SHOULD OBEY IT IN THE LUSTS THEREOF
v13, NEITHER YIELD YOU YOUR MEMBERS AS INSTRUMENTS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO SIN: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO GOD.
v14, FOR SIN SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU: FOR YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE.
v15, What then? SHALL WE SIN BECAUSE WE ARE NOT UNDER LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE? GOD FORBID.
v16, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to OBEY, his servants ye are to whom ye OBEY; whether of SIN unto death, or of OBEDIENCE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS?
v17, But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
v18, BEING MADE FREE FROM SIN, YOU BECAME THE SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
v19, I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now YIELD YOURSELVES SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS.
v20, For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
v21, What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for THE END OF THOSE THINGS <sin> IS DEATH.
v22, BUT NOW BEING MADE FREE FROM SIN, and become servants to God, ye have your FRUIT UNTO HOLINESS, and the end everlasting life.
v23, For THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS EVERLASTING LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

Chapter 7
v7, What shall we say then? IS THE LAW SIN? God forbid. Nay, I HAD NOT KNOWN SIN BUT BY THE LAW: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
v8, But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
v9, For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
v10, And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
v11, For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
v12, WHEREFORE THE LAW IS HOLY AND THE COMMANDMENT HOLY AND JUST AND GOOD.
v13, Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
v14, For we know that THE LAW IS SPIRITUAL: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Chapter 8
v1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.
v2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
v3, For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
v4, That THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
v5, For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
v6, For TO BE CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
v7, Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
v8, So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
v9, But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
v10, ¶ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
v11, But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
v12, Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
v13, For IF YOU LIVE AFTER THE FLESH YOU WILL DIE <sin>: but IF YOU THROUGH THE SPIRIT MORTIFY THE DEEDS OF THE BODY YOU SHALL LIVE.
v14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Chapter 13

v8, Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another hath fulfilled the law.
v9, For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
v10, Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

gb9, do you take the writing's of Paul................. 3

Only God's Word is true and we must BELIEVE and FOLLOW it. Those who do not are still in their SINS and do not KNOW him who loves all and call all to come. Many are called but FEW are chosen. Only the FOLLOWERS are CHOSEN because they BELIEVED Him who loves all and they are free to LOVE because He first LOVE them.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks u s not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

And since the Law could not give us rest, it is evident that not just the commandment of rest but the whole Law had to be done away with. As breaking one command is all it takes
Only REST is found in him who LOVES all through BELIEVING and FOLLOWING HIM. It is not God's LAW that is NOT giving you REST is it your SINS that are not giving you rest because they condemn all as sinners in need of a Savior.

NO LAW = NO SIN = NO NEED OF SALVATION FROM SIN = NO SAVIOR = NO SALVATION

Still want to do away with God's LAW?

SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom unless they repent and seek GOD'S LAMB for forgiveness and FOLLOW Him who LOVES ALL.

Rom 2
12
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law

Rom 3
31,
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

1 John 2
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks u s not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). Nothing has passed from the Law. If you do not keep all of it it is of no use to you to keep any of it. The purpose of the Law is to teach people that they can't please God by their own efforts. If you reject the Law's purpose and try to keep it anyway; that is between you and God. If you reject the Law's purpose and try to put other people under Law; then it becomes my job and the task of every well grounded believer to show that you are either deceived, deceiving, or both.
The Law is not just to show me im bad...

it also shows how to love according to YHWH and hat His righteous standard is. Not all Laws are do not's there are loving thigs to do also.... and finally not doing the do njot's keeps us from being unloving, and aI have never met a person that knew the word without reading it, so there is benefit is reading and studying it.

Its simple really.

The law was given to show us we are sinners that need saving.

Saving form what? Sin and the Devil.

Sin is breaking the law according to scripture.

In other words:

You shall not steal means if you steal you sin. Simple.

If you are saved from stealing then you don't steal anymore.

If you continue to steal then you are still a slave to your sin and the devil and the law will show you that.

If you are saved you will no longer break the law of God because the love of God resides in you and you cannot sin.

Whoever walks in darkness and sin does not have fellowship with the Father of Jesus.

This is the great deception of today, That a person can be born again and free while still walking according to the sinful nature.

But the truth is that Christ frees us form breaking the law/sin and being delivered from the old nature daily we walk according to the spirit and thus do not do the lusts of the flesh.

This is the power of our God and His Christ. Partakers of the divine nature, overcomers of the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Hebrews 7:18-19
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Here's the legalist and judaizer way which is how NOT to do it;

Romans 9:31-32

31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

Here is the Christian Way;
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Walk trough the valley
"The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him."

To God in Spirit, "A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day."
Jesus began His ministry proclaiming deliverance to the captives:
"Today and tomorrow I heal the sick and cast out devils, and the third day I shall be perfected."

Today and tomorrow signifies 2000 years, of rebuilding His temple:
"Now we are the body of Christ b
eginning when He was 30 years of age, or in the communion of the last super:
"This is my body broken for you." I
n Christ we are no longer in the flesh, but carried by His Spirit.
This third day is the thousand years reign of Christ with those who followed Him in His sufferings and the Sabbath rest.
There has been close to 6,000 years since Adam, or 6 days.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will
hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live."
"An hour is coming, and is now here," The last day is the renewal of all things.
And is no here: "Now is the accepted time of renewal," in our life.
The trouble with the mystery of God is that it's not in our understanding to know
the wisdom of God. "Lean not on your own understanding but trust in the Lord.

It's evident that not all believers will have part in the first resurrection.
"If we suffer with Him we shall rule with Him." "The rest of the dead are not raised until the 1,000 years are fulfilled.

"Comelet us return to the Lord, after 2 days he will raise us up, and the third day we shall live in His sight."
No need to clutter the page with bible references found on google.

As obedient children, do not conform to the former lusts you had when you lived in ignorance; But as He Who called you is holy, so you also become holy in all your conduct; Because it is written Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, Who, without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence; Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your forefathers; But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you; Who through Him we do believe in YHWH, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in YHWH." Keeping the weekly Sabbath will not make you more holy.

Actually, keeping the weekly Sabbath is living in ignorance.

IUgnorance? DOing His will is ignorance? OK. Reminds me of "April fools day" it was created because those who kept Yah's calendar (that begins and ens the year around April 1st) were called fools.

seting apart the Sabbath for His work is exactly what being set apart is. If one does not set apart a time fo Yah's will they are not seeking to be set apart, why not do it on the day He says?

Keeping the weekly Sabbath will not make you more holy.

Actually, keeping the weekly Sabbath is living in ignorance.
The law shows us sin by that which is good says Paul:

Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Sin is breaking the law in both the new and old testament.

Here is the particular part you seem to think does not matter:

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Notice remember the Sabbath "day". Or in other words remember the rest day. Note not from exodus 16 but from Genesis 2 when God rested and blessed and made holy the 7th day.

Look its right here for you to see:

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Indeed God blessed the actual day and set the actual day apart as holy.

done.

if I understand correctly,

you believe weekly sabbath and yearly sabbat have different spelling in Hebrew, but the same meaning and It is rest am I correct?[/QUOTE

Yes it is in no way a time sensitive word.It simply means rest .
.

That is the problem. Rest is shadow. It doesn't matter how we spell

Keeping the weekly Sabbath will not make you more holy.

Actually, keeping the weekly Sabbath is living in ignorance.
"One man esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

According to tis word, the one calling the other ignorant is the one ignorant of this word.
"We shall all give account of ourselves to God."

Where is the Sabbath mentioned here?

This text has nothing to do with the Sabbath. In fact it about judging on issues that are disputable or in other words not spelled out in scripture.

Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

The 7th day Sabbath is spelled out just fine so clearly not the issue here.

in fact Paul makes it clear that the issue concerning days here is directly connected to fasting as seen here:

Rom 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Rom 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Some regard the fast day and do not eat others do nor regard the fast day and eat.

Context is rather enlightening.

There is 0 application to the Sabbath day found in Romans 14.

Concerning the 7th day Sabbath it is no shadow at all. It was literal rest on the literal day that God literally finished creation.

The commandment points back to this reality not forward.

If you are to speak of the feast Sabbaths then yes clearly they are a shadow that point forward as the whole Feast was a shadow that pointed to Christ.

mR. gOtiME i DO BELEIVE THE 7TH DAY sABBATH POINTS FORWARD TO A REST THAT NONE HAVE YET OBTAINED (SPORY FOR CAPS, UININTENDED):

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflictedrest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Hosheyah 6:1-3, “Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.”

Rev 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to יהושע and because of the Word of Ylohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

Not that you are saying it is, but I want to point out; something that we are still looking forward to I don't see how it can be changed or abolished.

I don't have a problem with that. The 7th day Sabbath I believe holds the principle of Resting in Gods works for us. Even when it was first made it was based on His finished work of creation and thus we rest in his creation for us.

I believe that the Sabbath shows the reality that humanity was made to rest in the provision of God.

IN creation God made all we need and then made us to rule over it and enjoy it forever.

Gods salvation act is then naturally joined to the Sabbath concept as it is again God providing for us but in a salvation context. God now provides for our fallen condition in Christ.

The new heaven and the new earth will be again Gods provision for those who are restored to the image of God as was before sin entered the world.

So yes I see the Sabbath principle holds meaning in the new earth and the eternal rest in that it matches what was originally meant to be when the Sabbath was first made.

This means the Sabbath held meaning and import before sin, during sin and after sin it will still be. hope that makes sense.

Keeping the literal Sabbath that was a shadow of what has come in Christ is ignorance of what has come in Christ.

It will certainly not make you more or less holy.
