I believe in the total sovereignty of God. But was the OP trying to talk about the COVID vaccine and wearing masks, etc? Or did he want a theological discussion on the sovereignty of God?

At any rate, the Bible is clear we need to obey the authorities.

"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God. 2 So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment 3 (for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). My problem is that I believe in the name of health and safety the Anti Christ will deceive many. It won't be hard to get an entire world population to be obedient to the Mark of the Beast if they just make you believe it's necessary and for your best interest and those around you. There are many conflicting reports and questionable dealings with the CDC and NHI that could well be manipulating us by fear in order to wield their power. That is something different entirely then following just laws. If you are a vulnerable person who gets pneumonia every year then by all means you should constantly mask up and stay home. But those with healthy immune systems take the same risk getting a vaccine as they do getting the virus itself. It's over reach to expect everyone to get the vaccine when so many professionals disagree and only 5% of those who test positive for COVID get it serious enough to be hospitalized and less than 1% die from it, so can't we look at those figures and think to ourselves that this is more about global control which could well be the pre-curser to the rise of the Anti Christ and the lies the beast will use to make sure we all comply because government made us? I guess if you're full on sure that Jesus is taking his church to Himself before the Mark of the Beast is distributed it's a mute point but I've been reading scriptures that would indicate perhaps we could be tested with the tribulation and I don't want to be ignorant of how the world will be subject to the whims of Satan in the day of the Lord and I don't want to fall into compliance by fear of man when it has nothing to do with the fear of God. People are dying from the vaccines and having allergic reactions. the NHI and CDC own the patents for the vaccines and have a serious conflict of interest. These hybrid mRNA vaccines are raising concerns with PhD's at Harvard whether they can mess with our DNA in the long term or not. That the concern is enough to warrant testing. The vaccines won't be fully vetted until 2022 and they are currently experimental. I do wear a mask in grocery because I have no choice. But I have health issues that masking up exacerbates so it's very difficult to keep a mask on for any length of time and I will pull it away from my face if I'm uncomfortable. I think it's absolutely insane to see people riding bikes in a park masked up and yet that is what I'm seeing. I think there is something to be said about loving your physical life so much you would have the healthy suffer with job loss and compromising their immune systems by getting a vaccine they don't need or they'd have a reaction to. My brother in law recently tested positive and is type 1 diabetic. He's recovering at home with no threat of hospitalization. One of his doctors told him that he (the doctor) tested for Covid 6 times in a short period and 3 tests were positive and 3 were negative. I think it's evil to blame everyday people for passing a virus unless they purposefully cough on grandma or yourself knowing they don't feel well or are positive. I think the virus is very real but the response is very much being manipulated and it can be suspect a pre-curser to the Mark of the Beast and global compliance

that is not the reason I'm asking about the Sovereignty of God. My issue is militant 'Karens' that will accuse anyone of murder for not wearing a mask. How did natural selection turn into science based selection and murder? I also don't believe what HUNGRY said about: "God created men and everything to adapt or die. " Ultimately God created mankind in His image in His likeness for relationship and was in full relationship until The Fall. Sin brought death and the 'adapt or die' not God. I don't see myself as a Fatalist just because I'm willing to peruse and truly immerse myself in the prophetic Word and the signs of times when the great Apostasy seems to be fully upon us or very very close. I can admit when I'm wrong but the season I'm seeing and the spiritual weather I feel is we need to make sure our trust and faith is in God alone and first before we start blindly listening to globalist forces who've already been given license through Satan to deceive many.
