I'm going to comment on my post. Some things in the video are challenging to my faith, as using God's name in vain, but some might feel calling on God out loud maybe is good, but do not swear or use the name of the Lord in vain, is better. Give the guy a break, he's been in this for 25 years so corrupt, without repentence I know he had a sentence to live after death for ever. As believers we are all tempted, and he has a deep love for souls. IDK how long he's serving after Christ, but every one has their days, and some days, are challenged, and he said, that it was a struggle to be there at that time. He's been hurt by other believers, robbed by them and because of offenses, a bitter root could creep in. Were not perfect, BUT, he only wants to give a message of where he was, and where not to be. That's his goal, not perfect, but persuaded that God is able to mend the broken hearted, heal, and his word is Truth.
There are many who hide behind the curtain, some ashamed of the new way yet the Lord said, if your ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you. These are some tough words. Many have been through the muck and the mire, and just in and out of church, and still in the old attitudes, and carnal nature, not bearing any of the fruits of the holy spirit, going to church religiously and not growing spiritually. { Carrying a bible but not believing it, it is true. The full gospel, is what the old testaments and new testament prophets, and disciples died for, they are completed together, prophesying of Christ's birth in the O. Test, and it being fulfilled in the new. Miracles in the Old. and Miracles in the new. If someone doesn't believe in miracles, then they don't believe in the Gospel at all. It is all about miracles from beginning to the end.
He said something it might of went over heads, but here it is. He said that when he was cursing christians, some he couldn't and those were the back sliden ones also. This is truth. The book of Hosea says that God is married to the back slider, in all weakness's he longs for them to come back home even as the prodigal son came back from the muck and mire of sowing his wild oats. We all fall short of his glory, and it is with a repentive heart that he washes us clean again, wraps us in a blanket after washing the sin sins away like a new baby. There are those who have left the faith, as it says, the love of many had grown cold,
willing chosen another way, but I don't know how, knowing the goodness of God's love shed abroad in our hearts, yet maybe some never really surrendered to know that love. IDK but he's real. So the LOrd told Hosea, after his wife left him and went whrging he was told, go find your wife, and bring her back, for this is how much I love the back slider. His sermon was correct, with human flaws, but with a love for his master, and savior.
