going to church isnt enough, how do i get closer

I have finally found my church, I have only attended twice, but we have to start somewhere eh? I'm believing but questioning at the same time. its hard for I'm the only one who has been saved as the rest of my family don't even own a Bible. I want to stay on the right path, some encouraging words would be very useful and what could I do to get myself closer to God
 
You can go to life groups or youth events and have fellowship with other believers.
 
As a new believer there is no substitute for simply studying your Bible. Many questions will enter your mind as you study, be patient, let God's word rule. Blessing to you
 
I would suggest spend more time alone with God.. Allow him to teach you through his holy spirit.

There is no substitue for Holy spirit.

Spend more time in worshipping and reading his word..
