Jesus said to His Disciples they are to be in the world but not of the world.

Just about EVERYTHING today is owned by some sort of Anti-Christian Group. If you start boycotting everything or refusing to use it just because of that, soon you will have to be floating through the air to avoid having anything to do with these people.

My view is that truly, you have no idea who really controls what. You aren't responsible for that. I hear Christians saying they are never going to go to Walmart again because of 'whatever'. And they do this all the time saying they will "never again use ______". Its a little bit ridiculous, and unrealistic.

It reminds me of Christians who refuse to celebrate Christmas. We need to understand what the Apostle Paul said about things like this. You are going to have things placed before you all your life. "eat" the food, not asking questions for Conscience sake, remember? You have no idea what has or hasn't been dedicated to idols. Otherwise, you are going to have a really unnecessarily difficult life, and you will wind up avoiding EVERYTHING.


Choose your battles wisely! There are a lot of things you should make a big deal out of, and having the colors of the rainbow on something ain't one of them.
 
I agree UriahSmith which makes Christians inability to create something new in the marketplace telling. The opportunity obviously exists for Christians to come together and create a massive member owned Christian association far bigger than Costco in which all profit and all ownership is in the hands of each individual member and not the hands of a wealthy investors and founders. This by itself is a Christian principle and would be a powerful witness in the world.

Furthermore, as a Christian membership association, they would have the religious freedom to structure it according to the Christian worldview and partnership with Christian associations to make Christian resources available to members as inexpensively as humanly possible. They could partner with the largest Christian home schooling organization, Christian universities, etc... as well as foster idea creation/invention/innovation amongst their membership for new goods and services which could be, of course, sold through the Christian retail part of the association.

It's all doable. It's wide open. But Christians simply go down to Wal-Mart and make the Wal-Mart billionaire heiress richer instead.

How has this got anything to do with homosexuality? It's to do with equal rights for sport and freedom of expression. Google get my backing.

According to the OP, the rainbow colours are in support of gay rights, however one needs to remember that the rings in the olympic logo have the same colors as google's image.

Just because Google is using rainbow colors on their homepage, does NOT mean that they are either anti or pro-gay. As Jhana said, it has to do with equal rights for sports and freedom of expression. Either that or Google just wants to use pretty colors to attract people to their homepage. :) Or the poster of the original OP here could be right and they could be using it as a racial/lifestyle slur. OR maybe people at Google just like rainbow colors!! :p
 
God looks at the gay lifestyle to be so deplorable he describes it as horrible as he can, he uses the word, Abomination.

Google actually posted that particular design in protest of Sochiis anti gay policies and the head man if Google is highly liberal and openly admits he is pro gay and pro Obama.
