You don't like that they are just like JESUS disciples when HE walked this earth?

Acts 2:38 is not a universal salvation formula because it excludes over half the population. Acts 10:44 reveals the universal Body‑of‑Christ entry pattern for today: Hear > Believe > Receive, confirmed in Ephesians 1:13.

We have a Jewish mandatory attend feast, in a Jewish city, fulfilling a Jewish prophecy, under Jewish covenant laws. The commands Peter gives, repent, be baptized & receive the Holy Spirit, are delivered to Israel only, the chosen nation under the Mosaic covenant. NOT ONE gentile is among the 3,000 saved at Pentecost (Acts 10:45 proves it) & NOT ONE GENTILE HAS EVER been saved by this Acts 2:38 formula.
If a salvation pattern is truly universal, it must work for all people, in all places, under all conditions. Acts 2 does not!

He washed us from our sins in His own blood (Rev 1:5).
Jesus doesn't sprinkle water onto the alter in Heavens sanctuary:
Hebrews teaches that Christ entered the heavenly sanctuary ""not made with hands"" ""with His own blood"" (Heb 9:11–12). The same blood He shed ""outside the gate"" is ""the blood that sanctifies"" (Heb 13:12), the blood that speaks in heaven (Heb 12:24) & the blood by which we enter the holiest (Heb 10:19).

What do you think they were thinking?

My pastor and his team was heading to Georigia to pick up some church pews.
When there, my pastor started talking to a a man about him remodeling or building a new chruch.
He said, he and few other men got together to seek the Lord more, and JESUS filled them with the Holy Ghost and they all started speaking in tougues.
They followed a baptist preacher, they went to him and told him what happpeded and he KICKED THEM OUT OF THE CHURCH so they were building a new one and called them self baptacostals.
I know for a fact that most churchs don't preach about the Holy Ghost as I also followed a baptist preacher when I was younger and he sure never did.
He's the preacher right, suppose to follow him right?
We are all in different walks and if we are humble we can learn from one and the other.
I ask many on this sight that think that Pauls message is different then the rest of JESUS disciples, what about Acts 19 which happed app 20 years after Acts 2.
Paul askes you,

GOD'S word, evidence Paul preaches the same message AND baptism in a specific way is a big part of receiving the Holy Ghost and being reborn.
JESUS has filled a lot of people but we have to be humble and wait on HIM.

Every time you blather on about how YOU claim the New Testament says a person is saved, you run back to feelings: sweating, crying, shaking & campfire stories. None of that is the gospel. Paul didn't say, ""After you sweat, cry, & shake you're sealed."" He said, AFTER you heard - AFTER you believed - you were sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13).
Your emotional testimony is not doctrinally supported by Scripture.
You keep throwing Acts 2 & Acts 19 around, but neither one supports your experience‑based salvation: Acts 2 was a one‑time Jewish event that saved ZERO Gentiles. Acts 19 wasn't a Christian pattern, it was Paul updating a group of JEWISH disciples of John who had never heard the gospel. Acts 19 is not a salvation pattern. It's Paul converting Jews who were still stuck in John's baptism, pre Acts 10.
The only universal pattern is the 1st Gentiles saved in Acts 10: They heard the gospel, they believed, & Jesus baptized them with the Holy Spirit before water, before tongues, before emotion.
So until you can explain why Jesus saved Cornelius without your sweating‑crying‑shaking experience, your entire argument collapses. You're defending your feelings, not the gospel.

Two category's that must be kept separate JUSTIFICATION - SANCTIFICATION
Justification is God's once‑for‑all verdict grounded in Savior' sin atoning sacrifice & resurrection, received by faith apart from works.
Justification = positional, legal, unchanging. GOD ""judicially declares"" the ungodly righteous on the basis of faith in Christ' finished work (Rom 4:5). It never increases, decreases, or fluctuates.
Paul makes this distinction explicit: To the one who does not work but believes, his faith is ""counted as righteousness."" (Rom 4:5). David describes the blessedness of the man to whom God ""imputes righteousness apart from works"". (Rom 4:6). Blessed is the man to whom ""the Lord will not impute sin."" (Rom 4:8).
Romans 3:24, Justified freely by His grace through Christ.
Romans 3:26, God is the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans 3:28, A person is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
Romans 3:30, God justifies Jew & Gentile through faith.
Romans 4:5, God justifies the ungodly; faith is counted as righteousness.
Romans 4:6, Righteousness is imputed apart from works.
Romans 4:16, The promise is by faith, so it may be by grace.
Romans 5:1, Being justified by faith, we have peace with God.
The only way to become righteous is through faith apart from being required to have first done enough works in order to earn it as the result, but what it means to be righteous is to be a doer of righteous works in obedience to the Law of God (1 John 3:4-7), so it would be contradictory for someone to become righteous apart from becoming a doer of righteous works. This is why the faith by which we are declared righteous apart from works also upholds the Law of God (Romans 3:28-31). The Law of God was never given as a way of becoming righteous even as the result of perfect obedience, but rather it was given to describe the life of someone who is righteous as it describes the life of Christ, so it is what we get to experience being a doer of by being given the gift of righteousness through faith.
While it is is true that Abraham was declared righteous because he believed God (Genesis 15:6), it is also true that he was a doer of righteous works because he believed God (Genesis 18:19) and that he obeyed the command to offer Isaac because he believed God (Hebrews 11:17), so the faith by which he was declared righteous was also embodied through his works, but he did not earn his righteousness as the result of his works. In James 2:21-24, it quote Genesis 15:6 to support saying that Abraham was declared righteous by his works when he offered Isaac, that his faith was active along with his works, and his faith completed his works, so he was declared righteous by his works insofar as they embodied his faith but not insofar as they were earning it as a wage.
In Genesis 38:26 and 1 Samuel 24:17, they said that the other was more righteous than them.
Again, it is speaking about works done in order to earn it as the result. The only way for someone to attain a character trait is through faith but what it means to have a character trait is to be a doer of works that embody that trait. So the only way for someone to become courageous is by faith apart from being required to have first done enough works in order to earn it as the result, but it would be contradictory for someone to become courageous apart from becoming a doer of courageous works, and the same is true for righteousness and every other character trait. Labels only have value insofar as what they communicate is true, so to say that God is righteous is to say that He is a doer of righteous works and it would be contradictory to say that God is righteous if He were not. If I watched a movie and then declared that the main character was honorable, then they did not suddenly become more honorable than they were before I made that declaration and I would not be declaring that they did enough works in order to become honorable as the result, but rather I would simply be recognizing that that they believed that they ought to be a doer of honorable works, and the same is true for righteousness and every other character trait.
We're under a post death & resurrection covenant. At justification eternal life sealed by the Holy Spirit.
That doesn't change that people can be more righteous than others or the way to become righteous or what it means to be righteous.
The following God Given-Gifts are received by FAITH ALONE: Christ's a declaration of righteousness (Rom 4:5 & 5:17-18), Christ's Holy Spirit (Acts 10:45, 11:17), Eternal life (Rom 6:23, Jn 5:24) & GRACE - ALL given freely & received thru FAITH: Rom 3:24, 4:16, 5:1-2, 15, ""11:6"" ""Eph 2:5 & 8""
Again, there is a difference between the way to become righteous and what it means to become righteous. The only way to become righteous is through faith alone apart from being required to have first done enough righteous works in order earn it as the result, but what it means to become righteous is to become a doer of righteous works in obedience to the Law of God (1 John 3:4-7), so it would be contradictory for someone to become righteous apart from becoming a doer of righteous works. We can't earn our righteousness even as the result of having perfect obedience to the Law of God because it was never given as a way of doing that in the first place, but rather it was given to describe the iife of someone who is righteous as it describes the life of Christ, so it was what we get to experience beging a doer of by being given the gift of the righteousness through faith.
denotes the act of pronouncing righteous, justification, acquittal;" "to justify" it is used twice in the Ep. to the Romans, and there alone in the NT, signifying the establishment of a person as just by acquittal from guilt.
In Romans 4:25 the phrase "for our justification," is, lit., "because of our justification" (parallel to the preceding clause "for our trespasses," i.e., because of trespasses committed), and means, not with a view to our "justification," but because all that was necessary on God's part for our "justification" had been effected in the death of Christ. On this account He was raised from the dead. The propitiation being perfect and complete, His resurrection was the confirmatory counterpart.

Justified by faith in the lord Jesus finished sin atoning work. HE DID ALL THE WORK! We just need to trust Him.
