It will be very much like graduation day when we stand before the Lord to be judged. Some people will graduate and others will not. Some people will have wasted their lives playing around and goofing off, and when that day comes they will be judged accordingly, but they will have no chance to repeat it. Some people are focused and have their priorities in the right order.
There will be various honors for work done, some esteemed highly, others not so. Everyone who does graduate that day will receive a gown and a crown for the head according to the work they have done. And the hosts of heaven will celebrate every soul that does graduate. But that day will be a terror for the ones who did not do what was required to pass the final day of judgement. Indeed these people, who had played around will certainly see the error of their ways, and be ashamed of themselves, when the stand before The Truth. They will hope for all eternity they had done what they were supposed to do.
Some people will assume they are okay, and find that the work they did was not enough. It will hit them like a spear deep, and that spear will stay for eternity. The will not join the celebration and the will look on as people they knew pass before them into eternal life.
My friend, you can do nothing against me, because you will not answer to me. You will answer to Jesus. He will judge you. He will determine if you have done what was required. If you haven't you will be thrown into hell. However, if you learn from Jesus, and do what he tells you to do, WHEN HE TELLS YOU AND HOW HE TELLS YOU, and do not quit, you will get through this life. Even if people hate you and say you are super religious, we know that we have a crown to obtain.
No Lazy Christian will make it. No sinner will make it, so hear these words:
1Co 6:9 Don't you know that evil people won't have a share in the blessings of God's kingdom? Don't fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual
1Co 6:10 will share in God's kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others.
Rom 1:28 Since these people refused even to think about God, he let their useless minds rule over them. That's why they do all sorts of indecent things.
Rom 1:29 They are evil, wicked, and greedy, as well as mean in every possible way. They want what others have, and they murder, argue, cheat, and are hard to get along with. They gossip,
Rom 1:30 say cruel things about others, and hate God. They are proud, conceited, and boastful, always thinking up new ways to do evil. These people don't respect their parents.
Rom 1:31 They are stupid, unreliable, and don't have any love or pity for others.
Rom 1:32 They know God has said that anyone who acts this way deserves to die. But they keep on doing evil things, and they even encourage others to do them.
SO REPENT AND OBEY THE GOSPEL. AND BE BAPTIZED FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS!!! May Jesus bless you.
