Grandmother...

I got this recommendation and thought it was a good idea...

So my grandmother has fallen very ill with pneumonia and a few other complications... Being a child with a mother who works in a hospital I know how serious pneumonia can be...

I called her yesterday and I could tell she was struggling to hold on...

I guess I don't want her to suffer any longer... I kinda want her to be with The Father and his Son Jesus... I want her to have eternal peace and happiness... But in the same note, I want her to stay here, because my world would be vastly different...

Please pray for her, I don't know whether I am asking for her to get better or for her to pass on without suffering...

So I will say my own little prayer in example and type it as I pray....

"Dear heavenly father, please I don't know what my will is, I don't know what to think.. But watch over my grandmother for she is a child after your own heart... But above all our wants........ Let your will be done... You are all knowing and righteous.... As I type this I don't know what to say but I guess I will let my heart speak to you. In Jesus name I pray."
 
Our almighty creator God, we thank you for this faithful grandson and the love and gratitude he has for his grandmother and for you. You know the pain this is causing, please draw this family close, may your spirit move in a mighty way, drawing them ever closer in their love and devotion to you, never doubting your hand upon their lives. Please hold them as they gather around your daughter. We do not know the times of our going home, but we thank you for the peace we have in knowing this daughter, in your timing, will be coming home to you. May your peace be felt through this time and that all those placed around your daughter be compassionate and loving. We ask for your healing, restoration and for all involved to grow in their love for you, giving thanks despite the circumstances, for you almighty God. You, our giver of life, our healer, comforter and no matter our circumstances, our provider. Thank you Lord. In His name, <><

Agreeing for God's healing and restoration. Or don't you know that all of us were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as christ was raised from the dead through the glory, of the father: We too may live a new life. - Romans 6: 3-4

It makes of melancholy to hear that she is suffering, so I will pray on behalf of that; for God's will, and for comfort for you and the rest of her loved ones, going through the motions.
 
You said it "Let your will be done". I pray for God to heal your Grandmother, to rid her of her suffering, if that is His will. I pray that He gives you and your family strength and faith as you cope. God's blessings on you.
 
It hasn't even been a day, but both my grandmother and father tell me that things are turning for the better...

I called my grandmother today, she said "I feel less sick but I am still exhausted." This might not seem like a giant turn around, but honestly in my eyes this is monumental. In fact one of the reasons I had to hang up was so the nurses could get her to start walking again. So she "Didn't have to live the rest of her life in a wheel chair".

My father who doesn't like to downplay health problems due to events in his past, called me 15 minutes ago to tell me that my grandmother is doing far better...

I am still getting accustom to these prayer things... They are very weird for me, just the words 'I will/am pray(ing) for you' sound like a foreign language... But I know it works, not because of what is happening with my grandmother. But because God says it will... Thank you for all the prayers....
 
Father God, our thanks and praise be to you!!! You are always listening Lord, you are in us and around us. You are waiting for our prayers, when we reach out and pray and help others in Jesus' name, who we love and trust, you are happy. Truly you taught us to love one another, to help our fellow man and to pray to you with total faith. Thank you Jesus, Amen
 
It would be a blessing to have your grandmom, pray for her to want to live and be strong to recover. Sometimes so many people over 80 said, they want to go to be with the Lord, just tired of life, it is her will to fight for life. Father, you know this grandmother, I pray that she will recover and be well, and get stronger after she comes out of the hospital. Healing is our bread, for by thy stripes, we are healed, your body was broken, your blood shed, for us, we agree for health. Let her recover and be with the family, her grand children in Jesus name. amen
