Obviously the final will be Winnie the Pooh and Toy Story. No idea who wins, but the brackets are wrong. lol
i don't even see Pooh bear in the brackets, so yeah, clearly there are problems with the seeding.
Fantasia takes all, but isn't listed either -- perhaps the issue is that for those of us of a certain age and older, there are two "Disneys" and only 'modern Disney' is represented here, the Lion King being the only thing plausibly representing 'classic Disney' -- and it must be so, because nothing Pixar has ever done compares when you start tossing 'bippity boppity boo' or 'night on bald mountain' into the mix.

I don't know.... I saw most of the original Disney films, when they first came out...
I really like animated films... one of my all time favorites is Monsters Inc... and Shrek. Many others are close behind, such as Tangled, and Moana.
We just saw Coco recently, and my wife, who normally doesn't care that much for animated, LOVED it. She went out and bought us a copy of it.
Finding Nemo, Frozen, Ratatouille.... all of them are just pretty great. I guess that puts me in the "six of one, half a dozen of the other" camp.

have you seen the Studio Ghibli movies?
beautifully hand-drawn Japanese animated films, 'family-friendly' and very story-centric. Disney bought US distribution rights for them several years ago; i don't know if that technically puts them on the 'Disney' side for the tournament tho as Disney had nothing to do with production.
anyhow if you love animated movies, seriously ought to look into them. hand-drawn animation is becoming a relic of the past and these are the closest modern equivalent of the heyday of Disney under Walt.
Princess Mononoke was always my fave I read a while back some critic stated no one wants to see 2D animation anymore and I just wanna smack him! Anime is still going strong and cgi is just lazy imho
I know you said no negativity but I think The Lion King should be disqualified because it's almost a scene for scene rip off of Kimba The White Lion a japanese anime/manga by a very famous manga artist who pioneered the field who oddly enough was greatly inspired by Scrooge Nd Duck comics
