The greatest power in this world is not the colbalt bomb it is rather what we speak each day. Words even from unknown subjects can confirm things inside us,and mold ones feeling and emotion,to become peaceful through our belief in Jesus Christ. While it is very true most people have many people that can comfort, the only lasting comfort comes from a man who listens far more then he speaks, who places his hand upon us when we grieve, who lifts us up as we praise his wonderful name through our sorrow, who grants us lasting comfort through good times as well as the very tough times.( 2 cor 1:3-7)Who says to all of us Do not let your heart be troubled;believe in God,believe also in me.( john 14:1)
Who says peace i leave with you; my peace I give to you;not as the world gives do I give you.DO NOT let you heart be troubled no let it be fearful!( john 14:27) These are not just words written, they are indeed a lasting promise for all who believe, and indeed our only work to our Blessed Jesus is to believe!( john 6:28-29) My mom passed away on Sept 9th of this year, and Christmas which has been loved by my brother and Mom and I,now have a loss this Christmas, mom is no longer among us,and we are deeply sad because of all the times and all of the seasons this one meant the most to my mom. But rather then our hearts becoming so sad at what my brother and I do not have this season,we rejoice in all of the wonderful Christmas times we all spent for some 70 years!( rev 14:13) for there deeds follow with them! And they follow in us to!
We have very little but we give all we have. This was mom, this follows in my brother and I,because Jesus was seen in my mom through her love, her kindness to perfect strangers, her gentle voice which reached out to others in need. Her contentment in what she always had, rather then what she really wanted.
It was enough for her just to have us with her.And that is a great gift!So we reflect upon a peace which surpasses all understanding, keeping both our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus!
We consider the joy,and laughter, and smiles that light up our room and our hearts, because even since mom is no longer among us,her words ring loud and clear this season,we have very little, but we give all we have. And we brothers and sisters can do this, because Jesus FIRST!!!! LOVED US!!!( 1 john 4:19)( Jesus gave all he had for us!) ( phil 4:7-9)verse 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you! A Merry Christmas to you all!!
The first words i ever heard after becoming a believer,i will never forget! A little old man came up to me, and said thus saith the Lord unto you this day." God sends who he knows, and he always knows who he sends!" May his words comfort us all,and cause us to remember our loved ones who are not with us in body, but sure always with us in spirit! Even as our Jesus always is! Blessing all!
