Just wondering, but why did they have to be from the UK (despite that you changed your mind... and that was awfully fast!)? Also, any guy over 19 that would consider dating you is somewhat of a pedophile in my eyes. You are only 17, and therefore underage... and a 21 year old has no business talking to a 17 year old as far as a relationship goes.

That's just my opinion though! I'm sure Europeans might have different views than myself.

considering the legality of it, and certain overage individuals being put in jail... for possible 20 years... statutory rape if they had sexual relations.... it is not her own decision... decisions like that are left to adults... whom she is not one legally at her age... therefore as an adult, I think I am allowed to have an opinion by saying I disagree with another adult at the age of 21 possibly jeopardizing their future on a girl that is slightly too young by societies standards... not saying that sex will even be involved, but there are plenty of cases where a girl puts a man behind bars because she lied about her age
 
Sometimes is not what we want just because we think that is best for us and please ourselves. Why must it be Englishman so specific, why can't it be someone else? Who will know what is best for us and provide for us? God knows what is Best for us and each and everyone of us!

UK age of consent is 16, same as the Ukraine. But no one's even talking about sex here anyway, so this is rather irrelevant. And a word to the wise: a paedophile is someone who is sexually attracted to children, that is, those who are prepubescent. A 19 year old fancying a 17 year old is not a paedophile by any stretch of the definition, and neither is a 22 year old. In fact it's pretty normal.

Whether or not such a relationship is prudent is another kettle fish, but deviant or immoral it is not.

Help me out here, I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic. If you're not then I have to question what exactly is idiotic about feeling somewhat jaded about the UK not having any control over immigration from the EU.
