Roman Catholicism is the official religion of Haiti, but voodoo may be considered the country's national religion. The majority of Haitians believe in and practice at least some aspects of voodoo. Most voodooists believe that their religion can coexist with Catholicism. Most Protestants, however, strongly oppose voodoo.

DO you believe this horrible earthquake to be a Jugdement from God?

That is a question that I will not consider. Judgment belongs to God.
I will only consider and do as I believe we are called to do as christians.
Offer what help we can. And pray for all there.

I don't like this topic of weather or not it was God's judgment. I think as Christians we should be focused on praying for the Hatian people and find ways to love the Hatian people and contriubte to the relief efforts. We are in no position to speculate weather or not it was Gods judgment.

I'm not trying to attack your poll or post, I've heard this a lot in the media and elsewhere from other Christians. It's just how I feel.

I don't mean we shouldn't pray for them of feel compassion for them, it wouldn't be christian of me ;) I just feel there is always a reason. Voodoo seems like a good reason to me lol There are too many stories in the bible confronting this very issue.....

Oh dont worry, I knew that. Im just concerned that it may not be a good Idea.
Imagine yourself in their shoes.
Also there are some here that could go way beyond the line of speculation on this.
There is so much suffering there, I could not bare to add to it.
I didnt mean to sound like I was unhappy with you.
My appoligies to you.

No worries :) I know that wounds are fresh for everyone.... but that doesn't change the facts.
I'm a commandment follower and idols are against God.
Voodoo is about idols and spirits and that's all my post is really about.
I won't offer political correctness on a christian site...
God Bless you ALL!!!
