That's not up to me. If God is asking you to observe the Sabbath, ask Him whether it is or not.
Actually it's Wednesday preparation day, Thursday High Sabbath, Friday normal work day, Saturday Sabbath. Mary bought the spices on Friday, after the High Sabbath. She prepared them on Friday and then rested on the seventh day Sabbath, which was Saturday.

It's not so much of a physical, once every 7th year thing, because as you mentioned, I don't know when the original 7th and 50th years are. But I do believe in the spiritual application of those days, and I do believe they were a foreshadowing of true rest and release. So I remember those days as thanks to my God who gives me that rest and release.
Fortunately, Jesus was my "red heifer" (as well as other sacrifices).
And yes, I wear "fringes" a lot.

And you will never find 1 instruction in the Bible telling NT believers not to celebrate the Sabbath. But this has been discussed ad naseum in the multitude of other threads designed to debate the topic.
So as always, this thread is meant to be a blessing for those who choose to keep the Sabbath, whether you choose to or not.

Sorry, I should rephrase my question, according to you, is that sin? Like, would you feel convicted if you went out and bought bread?

You do realize that Paul went into the synagogues where the Jews were gathered on the Sabbath to preach Christ and not Moses. He was not obligated to do this as part of keeping the Sabbath but did so to preach Christ and Him crucified. The Jews needed to be saved through Christ and Paul went in on the Sabbath, their day of rest, and let it rip. So you can't use those times to justify keeping the Sabbath as a NT believer, not even Paul did that. Never has any of the apostles tried to justify keeping the Sabbath as a day of rest and their is no indication that they did so after Christ ascension. Peter was the only one who had a problem with the law of circumcision and eating with the Gentiles but Paul straightened him out on that and held him to blame.

As NT believers we have no excuse because that middle wall of partition has been broken down and both Jew and Gentile who believe have been placed in Christ and are one body with Christ as their head. Jews who believe can't separate themselves from Gentiles who believe because they have the law. You can't use the keeping of the Sabbath to make yourself distinct from others when there is no Jew or Gentile in Christ as one body. That would be division and Christ is not divided because the Spirit has been given to both. In Christ keeping the law of the Sabbath has no place, but to do the work of the Father on that day Christ has given us so many illustrations of by doing what He did on the Sabbath. I would venture to say that Christ did His greatest work on that day because so many Sabbath keepers were looking to see the next work He would do so that they might accuse Him. If we really want to honor God on the Sabbath we should do His work with our hands, our feet and with our tongue as a labor of love because we have already entered into His rest.
That's what you've been taught to believe and say but it's not true. One Sabbath the Gentiles begged Paul to teach them again the next Sabbath. Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Why not just teach them the next day, which would have been Sunday? This would have been a perfect time for Paul to make the Sabbath change to Sunday, but he didn't. As a matter of fact, the Gentiles even went out inviting others to come to church on Sabbath because the next Sabbath almost the whole city showed up to hear the word of God. Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. When the Jews saw the large crowd of non-Jews gathering on the Sabbath they got jealous. Acts 13:45 When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.
The seventh day is holy and special to God because that's the way He created. The Law didn't make it holy neither did Jesus make it unholy. The only thing the Law did to the seventh day is it turned it into a legalistic and ritualistic burden in the minds of religious men. In Christ we are not under the Law, we are under His teachings.

It's a sin if one has doubt and do it anyway. There's an analogy in Romans 14:23.
On the other hand, mocking is also a sin.

Brad, I'd really rather not make this thread yet ANOTHER thread debating the Sabbath while there are multiple one doing that already. This particular argument you're making has even been addressed in recent threads. I'd prefer to keep this thread for encouragement purposes and I'd appreciate it if you (and anyone else, pro or anti Sabbath) would respect that. If you're truly serious about engaging on this specific argument, I'd be happy to in one of the existing threads.
But if you're just wanting to be a booger and argue for the sake of arguing and cause dissension within the Body, well, there's not much I can do then.

When someone says something you really like, you can add to their "reputation" by clicking the Davidic Star looking symbol at the bottom of their post. But if you've added to their reputation a lot, the system says that you need to give reputation to other people before you can keep adding it to the same person.
That's why some of us copy and paste the system message when it says we can't add to their reputation anymore.

The Sabbath was given as a "sign" to the children of Israel, not to the Gentiles...and it was not "transferred" to the Church in the New Testament. The New Testament believer is not bound by the Sabbath. In addition, the Church is not keeping the Sabbath day according to Scripture:
Exodus 31:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Exodus 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Exodus 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
According to Exodus 31:12-16, you should not even be on your computer!

The law was given with specifics so that they would go to the law to be convinced of sin. This became their practice according to the law. If you fasil to keep the Sabbath why would you need Jesus to tell you if you have sinned or not. Is not the law enough to convict you of your transgression?
