Has anyone seen a picture of Heaven?

Just wondering if anyone on here has been shown Heaven by God? I was talking to my Mum earlier this week and told her how I'd love to see it! She told me she once asked God to show her hell and she said it was awful, she couldn't explain to me exactly how it was it was that bad!
 
What does she mean when you say she was shown them? Like a vision?

I personally believe that heaven and hell are not something humans can truly comprehend.
 
I don't believe they are intended for us to even try to fully comprehend. I think it was John who was even told not to share everything he saw. We all have our moments of curiosity about it all, but i just try not to spend a lot of time on it. Ultimately its all going to come down to speculation. And i'm leery of all these people that claim to have died, or had visions and come back and share all sorts of details, when even in His own bible God said certain things should not be told.
 
Jesse duplantis has a video of his preaching whete he saw heaven in a out of body type vision while he was praying. You can see portions on you tube. Its called close encounters of the god kind.

Paradise starts here and now, this world was meant to be a glorious and bountiful Paradise of God for us humans. Just take a look around you, at the glorious creation; this world was meant to be Paradise... it is Fallen now, but from what you can see and experience here and now, you can contemplate just how majestic and glorious Paradise was for the first created Man.

Just remember, Paradise and Eternity are not things very far from us; no, they are very near, too near for words. And all of creation is immersed in God.

Read this Psalm, it tells of this:


Psa 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Psa 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Psa 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
Psa 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Psa 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
 
I believe that we are not meant to have an image or understanding of it till we actually go there. I have never had any visions or anything like that but I really love the image of heaven from a tv show called "supernatural", it is that heaven is different for everyone, it is their favorite place to be or their most precious memory. In the tv show an angel always liked to go visit one mans heaven, it was an autistic middle aged man whose heaven was in a beautiful yard with the perfect weather for kite flying and all he did all day was fly his kite.

The Apostle John was given a vision of heaven and he wrote down what he saw. It's titled The Book of Revelation.

People can get wrapped up in heaven and forget its not a permenant abode. Its where the
marriage supper of the Lamb will be. They just waiting on the rest to arrive. Once that is over,
Jesus will return with all that is there. That is, when Jesus returns to the earth, we are coming
with Him. He'll reign 1000 years on earth, then judge everyone, then create a new heaven
and earth. The New Jerusalem will decend and He'll rule from there. We'll be in the New
Jerusalem or on earth. I can't think of any reason we'll be going back and forth to heaven
since Jesus will be in the New Jerusalem.
 
There's a saint who was shown Hell and also she was shown مطهر i don't know specifically what it's called in english but it's the place before heaven, before Glory. but in Hell she was not harmed because under the command Of Jesus no one touched her, i think it's st.Veronica but i'm not too sure if it's St.Veronica.
 
People that claim to have seen Heaven and Hell are more than likely having a hallucination. Especially if it is near death when there is a lack of oxygen to the brain. Don't believe me? What any terminally ill person in the last stages of their life. A huge percentage of the time, if they are still able to talk they will say they saw loved ones that have passed before them. Angels and so on.

My sister did this less that 24 hours before she died. She sat up in bed and had a conversation with our father who died 19 years earlier.
Heaven and Hell are beyonf human comprehension. I seriously doubt anyone has "seen" it.

Don't be so sure, Beth. ;) Jesus showed John heaven in the book of Revelation and he lived to write about it.

Don't be so sure, Beth. ;) Jesus showed John heaven in the book of Revelation and he lived to write about it. Also, in that story of Don Piper, he was dead for 90 minutes and no one revived him. It was a preacher praying over him (despite his reluctance to believe that praying for the dead did any good) that witnessed him come back to life singing, yes singing after being dead for 90 minutes. He had severed limbs and massive injuries and was just laying there like a piece of meat. The paramedics previously checked for a pulse and had found him after rigor mortis already set in.

Or any place where the grass, trees, and plant life is as candy, and where the rivers are of delectable chocolate. Lol.
