Shabbat Shalom. I am so looking forward to peace and rest and fellowship with like-minded believers this Sabbath. Plus bonus weekend...Mother's Day with my beautiful adult daughters and their families.

Just another prayer that you all have an awesome Sabbath!
Remember, folks might criticize our keeping of it, and make all sorts of false assumptions about us, and we can even get caught up in the debate and support of the Sabbath. But's let's never forget WHY we keep the Sabbath:
Obedience to God's command is obviously one, but.....
We find joy in it.
We draw closer to God in it.
It is a time of rest physically and spiritually.
It is a set apart and holy time.
It is a time to serve others and build up His Kingdom in us and in others.
It is a time to devote ourselves to prayer and study.
If we are not approaching the Sabbath with these things in mind, we are missing the point of it all.
So rejoice, and be excited for the upcoming Sabbath! It's a great day, and I trust all of us will be blessed in it!
