The thousand years is on earth my friend.
Again literalizing Heaven, rather than understanding it Spiritually. ... very interesting ! The way Satan deceives, and sad ... = evil & eternally destructive.
Here are several Bible verses that highlight the key events of this period, such as Christ’s second coming, the reign of the saints with Christ, the judgment, and the final restoration of the earth.
- Revelation 20:4-6 - This passage clearly describes the millennium as a time when the saints reign with Christ for 1,000 years, and during this time, the earth remains desolate. The saints are given authority to judge, and the wicked are not yet resurrected until the end of the 1,000 years.
- “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge... They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended... they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4-6)
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - This passage explains that when Christ returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and those who are alive will be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. This supports the idea that the saints are taken to heaven at Christ’s return to be with Him during the millennium.
- “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
- Revelation 21:1-2 - After the millennium, the earth is restored, and God creates a new heaven and a new earth. This signifies that the millennium is spent in heaven and concludes with the creation of a renewed earth for the redeemed to inhabit.
- “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.” (Revelation 21:1-2)
- Revelation 20:7-10 - At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan is released, and he deceives the nations once more, leading to the final battle against the saints. The judgment is completed, and the wicked are destroyed. This passage confirms that the millennium is a period of judgment, after which the final judgment of the wicked occurs.
- “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations... They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.” (Revelation 20:7-9)
- Matthew 25:31-34 - In this passage, Jesus describes the final judgment, which occurs at His second coming. The righteous are welcomed into His kingdom, which ties in with the idea of the millennium beginning in heaven and concluding with the final establishment of God's kingdom.
- “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another... Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’” (Matthew 25:31-34)
