It will only bring tears for you.
The whole point of your life should revolve around Jesus, so how can you enter into an intimate relationship with someone who wont understand nor build up the no. 1 thing in your life.

Nothing against unbelievers though. I dated a non christian for nearly 4 years. He was a lovely guy and we very amicably broke up because in our last year together I became very discontent that the relationship was moving me further and further away from God. I have since courted and got engaged to a wonderful Christian man and in all honesty there is absolutely no comparison to the joy you feel having a future spouse who supports, sacrificiously leads, and hold Jesus as his personal model for loving me as his future wife.

Lastly, when you date a non christian you become a hypocrite in your testimony by saying that you're the exception of Gods rule. You are not an exception. God made this rule to protect and care for you as his precious daughter. Hang in there, dont date this non christian and PLEASE hold out. Theres MUCH better out there.

I have dated a couple of them unknowingly. Some people know about God, but aren't truly believers. I'm thankful that God guarded my heart.

Yes, i did but it didn't last long....twas a huge mistake...:(

i did once was a huge mistake!!! only last 6 weeks thankfully and God told me to end it so i did but i'm never doing it again it took my focus right off from God now i can understand that passage is said ( we're incompatible, they're of this world whilst we are not) but thankfully God has forgiven me and I'm now waiting on God for what he has in store for me that's all we can do.
worship him while we're waiting! like the song

Just don't fall into the temptation i know it's not easy but God has great plans for us, i don't want to ruin them now by doing something stupid.

I always heard for us not to date unbelievers in church while growing up. And then when I was 18 I met this guy... he told me he wanted to believe in God but that he couldn't just believe in something like that without proof. I did start dating him and I thought I loved him. I had hoped that he would start believing in God.. but he went the opposite direction. That wasn't the only time, there was another guy I dated that told me he did believe in God & everything, he just wasn't serious about Him. Both relationships I wish had never happened. Both hurt me mentally & emotionally.

God would never want you to be with an unbeliever. Even thinking that you can change them. You may think it won't be a big deal or that everything will work out but in all reality you need someone that's dedicated to God like you are so you can both grow closer and your relationship will grow closer through him. Anyone else will only hurt your relationship with Him
