Hear Jesus’ voice before carry out something:
Many times, we look on our situation as a proof that Jesus shuts out our prayer. Nonetheless, are we looking out for signs of His presence (remember that Jesus ordain us to watch for His coming – Mark 13.33-37; Luke 21.36). Many times, we are who close our heart to Him because our sins (Isaiah 59.1,2; 2Cor 6.11-13).
In sooth, we need to look through the Holy Scripture in prayer in order to find out our real condition before Him. Regrettably, we only look the Holy Scripture over and, after, we whine because everything goes wrong and blame Him for making our paths crooked.
Nonetheless, why don't we look for His advice before acting? We prefer mucking around to go over the Holy Scripture, questing for hearing the voice of Jesus. He Himself doesn’t crook our paths. He just leaves us free to make this with our life. And what would we wish? That He hindered us of reaping the evil? But He did this through His commandments. Notwithstanding, we rebuff them, regarding them as a strange thing (Hosea 8.12) and impossible of receiving and practicing (Acts 16.20,21).
So, have an excellent week mulling over the Holy Scripture around the clock. Never balk at abiding by the commandments of Jesus. Certainly, they work out. Tomorrow we are going to continue.
