My bro who i have met on here has been helping me with sone of my problems. He told me i need to listen to god to be the man he wants me to be. But how will i know if its him, my subconcious, or the evil

The bible tells you who God is, and what his character is like, and therefore when you read the Bible and learn about God and his character, you can discern when you listen who he is. Sometimes however it does not make any sense whatsoever, and you need to be patient and wait for God to show you a sign or a wonder or something.
The Word will give it away. If whatever you're hearing doesn't line up with God's Word, it ain't God.
